Abstract

The security and comfort of homeowners are often disrupted when they have to leave their residence temporarily due to the negligence of turning off electrical appliances that are still plugged into sockets, which can cause fires due to overheating. Additionally, homes left unattended by their owners become targets for motor vehicle theft, which must be anticipated to prevent losses for homeowners. A design and construction of an electrical network control and garage security system for households has been created, utilizing IoT (Internet of Things) technology for real-time remote monitoring and control using smartphones. Electrical control includes remote switching to relays connected to electrical devices through the NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller. Garage security involves notifying users via WhatsApp messages when there are indications of vehicle theft in the home garage, with an alarm that can be turned off remotely. Theft indication detection is carried out using RFID readings for vehicles and household occupants. If the vehicle's RFID is detected without a corresponding occupant RFID tap, the system detects a vehicle theft indication and sends a notification to the homeowner who is not on-site. The garage security system also employs additional security measures in the form of facial recognition using the NodeMCU ESP32 cam and a servo for the garage door. In its implementation, the system works well according to the programming functions. This is evidenced by the successful On/Off switching control of electrical devices using a smartphone with a response time of 1.38 seconds, as well as the successful RFID reading and facial recognition system for garage security, providing theft notifications via WhatsApp messages. Keywords: internet of things, garage security, electrical security, microcontroller, facial recognition, relay, RFID, whatsapp Keamanan dan kenyamanan pemilik rumah seringkali terganggu saat harus meninggalkan tempat tinggal untuk sementara waktu karena kelalaian dalam mematikan peralatan listrik yang masih terhubung dengan stop kontak, yang dapat menyebabkan kebakaran karena panas berlebih. Selain itu, rumah yang ditinggal oleh pemiliknya menjadi sasaran pencurian kendaraan bermotor yang harus diantisipasi agar tidak menyebabkan kerugian bagi pemilik rumah. Telah dibuat rancang bangun sistem kendali jaringan listrik dan keamanan garasi pada hunian rumah tangga yang memanfaatkan teknologi IOT (Internet of Things) untuk monitoring dan kendali jarak jauh secara real time menggunakan perangkat smartphone. Pengendalian listrik meliputi pensaklaran jarak jauh ke relay yang terhubung dengan perangkat listrik melalui mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP32. Kemananan garasi meliputi pemberitahuan ke pengguna melalui pesan Whatsapp saat terjadi indikasi pencurian kendaraan di garasi rumah dengan alarm yang dapat dimatikan secara jarak jauh. Pengenalan indikasi pencurian dilakukan dengan metode pembacaan RFID kendaraan dan RFID penghuni rumah. Apabila RFID kendaraan terbaca tanpa adanya tap RFID penghuni, sistem mendeteksi terjadinya indikasi pencurian kendaraan dan mengirimkan notifikasi ke pemilik rumah sedang tidak berada di lokasi. Sistem keamanan garasi juga menggunakan keamanan tambahan berupa metode pengenalan wajah berbasis NodeMCU ESP32 cam dan servo untuk pintu garasi. Dalam implementasinya, sistem bekerja dengan baik sesuai fungsi pemrograman. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan keberhasilan kendali switching On/Off peralatan listrik menggunakan smartphone dengan respon time 1,38 detik serta keberhasilan sistem baca RFID dan pengenalan wajah untuk keamanan garasi yang memberikan notifikasi adanya pencurian melalui pesan Whatsapp. Kata kunci: internet of things, keamanan garasi , kendali listrik, mikrokontroler, pengenalan wajah, relay, RFID, whatsapp
