Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in logistics that organizes package delivery. In conducting its business activities, PT XYZ often uses inventory items at many locations or sites, such as android scanners, laptops, cable scanners and printers. These various tools are used by daily casual employees and contract employees to do the work of processing packages at PT XYZ. The existing problem is the management of asset borrowing, asset management, and asset data reports that have not been maximized at PT XYZ, causing obstacles such as uncontrolled asset borrowing, invalid asset reports and no mechanism to integrate all data on site. The solution offered is the need for the design of a Qr-code-based inventory application that is able to enter and store information in each borrowing activity, reports are generated validly and asset information on all sites can be integrated in one system. This research aims to produce an inventory system design that will help the lending process and manage assets in the XYZ company. The method to be used is the RAD method which aims to reduce the time required to design and build applications. The results achieved if this information system design is implemented are inventory management and lending will be faster and able to generate reports quickly. PT XYZ adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang logistik yang mengatur pengiriman paket. Dalam melakukan kegiatan bisnisnya, PT XYZ sering menggunakan barang-barang inventaris pada banyak lokasi atau site, seperti scanner android, laptop, scanner kabel dan printer. Berbagai alat ini digunakan oleh karyawan harian lepas dan karyawan kontrak untuk melakukan pekerjaan memproses paket yang ada di PT XYZ. Permasalahan yang ada ialah pengelolaan peminjaman aset, pengelolaan aset, dan laporan data aset yang belum maksimal di PT XYZ, sehingga menyebabkan kendala seperti peminjaman aset tidak terkendali, laporan aset yang kurang valid serta belum adanya mekanisme mengintegrasikan semua data pada site. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dibutuhkannya rancang bangun aplikasi inventaris berbasis Qr-code yang mampu dalam memasukan dan menyimpan informasi disetiap aktivitas peminjaman, laporan dihasilkan secara valid dan informasi aset pada semua site dapat terintegrasi dalam satu sistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan perancangan sistem inventaris yang akan membantu proses peminjaman dan mengelola aset diperusahaan XYZ. Metode yang akan digunakan yaitu metode RAD bertujuan untuk mengurangi waktu yang dibutuhkan merancang dan membangun aplikasi. Hasil yang dicapai jika perancangan sistem infromasi ini diterapkan yaitu pengelolaan inventaris dan peminjaman akan lebih cepat dan mampu menghasilkan laporan secara cepat.
