Abstract
This research aims to design and develop an IoT-based aircraft weighing prototype to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the aircraft weighing process. The current manual method has potential errors in reading and recording data, which can compromise flight safety. By using three load cell sensors, an HX711 module, and an ESP32, the aircraft weighing data will be processed and transmitted automatically to a server via an internet connection. The data will then be stored in a database and displayed through a website that can be accessed in real-time. The use of IoT technology is expected to minimize human errors and improve operational efficiency in the aircraft weighing process. Testing results of the load cells with various loads showed the highest average error of 0.088% with a 500-gram load on load cell 2 and a 1000-gram load on load cell 3, while the lowest average error percentage was 0.017% with a 500-gram load on load cell 1. Data transmission from the ESP32 to the database had an average delay of 1.1 seconds. Keywords: database, Internet of Things (IoT), HX711 module, load cell, ESP32, website Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan prototype aircraft weighing berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) untuk meningkatkan akurasi dan efisiensi proses penimbangan pesawat. Metode manual yang digunakan saat ini memiliki potensi kesalahan dalam pembacaan dan penulisan data, yang dapat membahayakan keselamatan penerbangan. Dengan menggunakan tiga load cell sensor, modul HX711, dan ESP32 data penimbangan pesawat akan diolah dan ditransmisikan secara otomatis ke server melalui koneksi internet. Data tersebut kemudian akan disimpan dalam database dan ditampilkan melalui website yang dapat diakses secara real-time. Penggunaan teknologi IoT diharapkan dapat meminimalisir kesalahan manusia dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dalam proses penimbangan pesawat.. Hasil pengujian load cell dengan beban menunjukkan rata-rata error tertinggi sebesar 0,088% pada beban 500 gram pada load cell 2 dan 1000 gram load cell 3, dan rata-rata error terendah dengan presentase 0,017% pada beban 500 gram pada load cell 1.
