Abstract

Setiap perusahaan membutuhkan sistem absensi yang efektif untuk memantau kehadiran dan kinerja karyawan. Namun, banyak perusahaan masih menggunakan metode absensi manual yang rentan terhadap kesalahan dan memakan waktu. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diperlukan aplikasi absensi terkomputerisasi yang dapat memproses dan merekam data secara otomatis. Sistem ini memudahkan absensi karyawan dengan akses melalui ponsel menggunakan teknologi pengenalan wajah (face recognition) dan layanan berbasis lokasi (location based service). Presensi karyawan biasanya dicatat menggunakan ID card, sidik jari, atau metode manual lainnya yang mudah dimanipulasi. Teknologi biometrik seperti pengenalan wajah (face recognition) berkembang pesat dan digunakan untuk mengenali wajah dari gambar digital. Teknologi ini membandingkan citra wajah dengan database yang tersimpan. Meskipun pemindai sidik jari banyak digunakan, teknologi ini memiliki kelemahan. Penelitian sebelumnya telah mengembangkan aplikasi absensi berbasis mobile yang memanfaatkan sensor GPS untuk memvalidasi lokasi pengguna. Sistem ini menggunakan metode PNPOLY untuk mendeteksi lokasi dalam area poligon yang telah ditentukan. Aplikasi ini mencatat lokasi secara real- time, memungkinkan perusahaan mendapatkan laporan kehadiran yang akurat beserta lokasi terkini karyawan. Penggunaan teknologi geolocation dan pengenalan wajah (face recognition) terbukti meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pencatatan kehadiran. Penelitian ini mencoba mengimplementasikan Attendance System dengan metode Face Recognition, Location Based Service, dan Unique Identity, menambahkan parameter Unique Identity untuk verifikasi data. Every company needs an effective attendance system to monitor employee attendance and performance. However, many companies still use manual attendance methods that are prone to errors and time consuming. To solve this issue, a computerized attendance application is needed that can automatically process and record data. This system facilitates employee attendance with mobile access using facial recognition technology and location-based services. Employee attendance is usually recorded using ID cards, fingerprints, or other manual methods that are easy to manipulate. Biometric technology like facial recognition is rapidly developing and is used to recognize faces from digital images. This technology compares facial images with stored database records. Although fingerprint scanners are widely used, this technology has its drawbacks. Previous research has developed a mobile-based attendance application that uses GPS sensors to validate user locations. This system uses the PNPOLY method to detect locations within predetermined polygon areas. The application records locations in real-time, allowing companies to obtain accurate attendance reports along with the current location of employees. The use of geolocation and facial recognition technology has proven to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of attendance recording. This research aims to implement an Attendance System using Face Recognition, Location Based Service, and Unique Identity methods, adding Unique Identity as a data verification parameter.
