Abstract

Nowadays technology cannot be separated from human life, especially in the business world. Companies must use technology to avoid being left behind by competitors in the field of information technology. Employee productivity and efficiency are key factors for companies to remain superior. Therefore, continuous innovation is a necessity for companies. One such innovation is the improvement of employee attendance management, aimed at enhancing productivity and employee development effectively and efficiently. This research discusses the measurement of the maturity level of the thermal scan attendance information system governance process at PT DSN. This company has never audited the information system of the thermal scan attendance. This research analyzes the capability model level of the thermal scan attendance system and determines the gap analysis between the current capability model level and the desired level by the company using the Monitor, Evaluate, and Assess domain with the COBIT 5 framework (MEA01, MEA02, MEA03). Keywords: Thermal scan attendance, capability model, gap analysis, COBIT 5 Saat ini, teknologi tidak bisa dipisahkan dari kehidupan manusia, terutama dalam dunia bisnis. Perusahaan harus menggunakan teknologi agar tidak tertinggal oleh kompetitor dalam bidang teknologi informasi. Produktivitas dan efisiensi karyawan menjadi faktor utama bagi perusahaan untuk tetap unggul. Oleh karena itu, inovasi terus-menerus menjadi keharusan bagi perusahaan. Salah satu inovasi tersebut adalah peningkatan manajemen kehadiran karyawan yang bertujuan meningkatkan produktivitas dan pengembangan karyawan secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini membahas pengukuran tingkat kematangan proses tata kelola sistem informasi absensi thermal scan di PT DSN. Perusahaan ini belum pernah mengaudit sistem informasi pada absensi thermal scan tersebut. Penelitian ini menganalisis tingkat capability model dari sistem absensi thermal scan dan menentukan gap analysis antara level capability model saat ini dan yang diinginkan perusahaan menggunakan domain Monitor, Evaluate, and Assess dengan framework COBIT 5 (MEA01, MEA02, MEA03).
