Abstract

The issue of inappropriate official wealth became the focus of discussion amongst the public, state officials and his family frequently display luxury lifestyle on social media. The issue began to be discussed after the uncovering of the case of Rafael Alun that was circulated in social media, and then the KPK asked netizens to report the wealth of officials deemed not in accordance with the LKHPN. Corruption is a criminal offence that has a major impact on the sustainability and well-being of the country, so governments and the public need to play an active role in combating corruption. Kompas.com and Detik.com are the most widely used media in Indonesia. With the background presented, the study aims at analyzing researchers' questions about how the reporting in the news media Kompas.com and Detik.com on the issue of KPK asks for help netizens report the wealth of officials as well as to analyze the importance of framing reports on related issues. The study uses a constructivist paradigm with a text analysis unit in the news on a KPK issue that requests the help of netizens to report public wealth focused on news articles from February to April 2023. The results obtained from this research are Kompas.com and Detik.com, which have different outlines in framing news, but with the same interests of tracking offenders who commit corrupt crimes. The news of corruption cases and KPK incidents provides insight to the public as well as gives the public the opportunity to be able to engage in combating corruption through social media. Keywords: New Media, Framing, Corruption, Public Trust Isu kekayaan pejabat yang tidak sesuai menjadi pusat pembicaraan di kalangan publik, pejabat negara dan keluarganya kerap memamerkan gaya hidup mewah di media sosial. Isu tersebut mulai ramai dibicarakan setelah terbongkarnya kasus Rafael Alun yang di viralkan di media sosial, dan kemudian KPK meminta netizen untuk melaporkan kekayaan pejabat yang dianggap tidak sesuai dengan LKHPN. Korupsi merupakan tindak pidana yang berdapmak besar bagi keberlanjutan dan kesejahteraan negara, sehingga pemerintah dan Masyarakat perlu berperan aktif dalam tindakann pemberantasan korupsi. Kompas.com dan Detik.com merupakan media yang paling banyak digunakan oleh Masyarakat Indonesia. Dengan latar belakang yang dipaparkan, penelitian ini bertujuan dalam menganalisis pertanyaan peneliti terkait bagaimana pembingkaian berita dalam media berita Kompas.com dan Detik.com pada isu KPK minta bantu netizen laporkan kekayaan pejabat serta menganalisis sepenting apa framing pemberitaan tentang isu terkait. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivis dengan unit analisis teks dalam berita pada isu KPK yang meminta bantuan netizen untuk melaporkan kekayaanpejabat yang difokuskan pada artikel berita periode Februari sampai April 2023. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini adalah Kompas.com dan Detik.com, memiliki cata yang berbeda dalam membingkai berita, namun dengan kepentingan yang sama yaitu menindak lanjut pejabat yang melakukan tindak pidana korupsi. Pemberitaan tentang kasus korupsi dan anjuran KPK memberikan wawasan kepada Masyarakat serta memberikan Masyarakat kesempatan untuk dapat terlibat dalam memberantas korupsi dengan media sosial.
