Abstract

PT Bali Towerindo Sentra (“Balitower”) is a leading Telecommunication Tower infrastructure provider company in Bali Province. The problem faced is in making, arranging and distributing installation tickets and maintenance tickets for Balifiber technicians who still use instant messaging applications as broadcasting media. The method used to analyze the problems in this research was the fishbone method. Making applications in this study using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with the Unified Modeling System (UML) system modeling, and using the WEB programming language. New Installation and Maintenance Balifiber Ticketing Application at PT. Balitowerindo Sentra Tbk is expected to be a solution to solving problems that exist at PT. Balitowerindo Sentra Tbk, which monitors, arranges and distributes new installation tickets and maintenance tickets in new installation and maintenance ticketing applications, thereby reducing installation tickets and maintenance tickets being canceled and rescheduled. Keywords: Balifiber, UML, Ticket, Maintenance, Installation, Fishbone, Rapid Application Development 7 PT Bali Towerindo Sentra (“Balitower”) adalah perusahaan penyedia infrastruktur menara telekomunikasi terkemuka di provinsi Bali. Adanya masalah yang di hadapi adalah dalam melakukan pembuatan, pengaturan serta pembagian ticket instalasi dan ticket maintenance untuk teknisi Balifiber yang masih menggunakan aplikasi pesan instan sebagai media broadcasting. Dengan metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisa permasalahan dalam penelitian ini meggunakan metode fishbone. Dalam pembuatan aplikasi dipenelitian ini menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan pemodelan sistem Unified Modeling System (UML), serta menggunakan bahasa pemrograman WEB. Aplikasi Ticketing Instalasi Baru dan Perbaikan Balifiber pada PT. Balitowerindo Sentra Tbk diharapkan menjadi sebuah solusi pemecahan masalah yang ada pada PT. Balitowerindo Sentra Tbk yang mana dalam melakukan monitoring, pengaturan dan pendistribusian pada ticket instalasi baru dan ticket maintenance pada aplikasi ticketing instalasi baru dan maintenance sehingga mengurangi ticket instalasi dan ticket maintenance ter-cancel dan ter-reschedule.
