Abstract

This research is quantitative research, the aim of this research is to determine the influence of achievement motivation on the creativity of psychology students at Mercu Buana University, Jakarta. Achievement motivation is an individual's effort and belief in realizing learning goals with certain standards of success and being able to overcome obstacles that can hinder goals in the process. Creativity is a person's ability to create something new, whether it has not existed before or is a modification of existing ideas into newer ideas. Unique ideas don't just appear without reading existing references to create new things or update existing things. Therefore, to increase creativity, there are dimensions of creativity according to Sternburg and Lubart, namely the intelligence process, intellectual life, knowledge, personality, motivation and environment. This research uses a simple random sampling technique . Research data was analyzed using SPSS 22 software . The analysis method used multiple linear regression. The results of his research show the coefficient regression For motivation achievement of 0.726. means if variable Motivation Achievement go on equal to 1 unit , then will increase Creativity of 0.726. That matter show that motivation achievement give positive influence _ to creativity student . Keywords: Achievement Motivation, Creativity Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini aadalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh motivasi berprestasi terhadap kreativitas mahasiswa psikologi Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta. Motivasi berprestasi adalah sebuah usaha dan keyakinan indivisu untuk mewujudkan tujuan belajar dengan standar keberhasilan tertentu dan bisa untuk menyelesaikan rintangan yangbisa menghambat tujuan dalam prosesnya. Kreativitas adalah kemampuan seseorang untuk menciptakan sesuatu yang baru, baik hal tersebut belum ada sebelumnya atau suatu modifikasi dari ide-ide yang sudah ada menjadi ide yang lebih baru. ide – ide unik tidak muncul begitu saja jika tanpa membaca referensi – referensi yang ada untuk menciptakan hal hal baru atau memperbarui hal yang sudah ada. Oleh karena itu untuk meningkatkan kreativitas terdapat dimensi tentang kreativitas menurut Sternburg dan Lubart yaitu proses intelegensi, haya intelektual, pengetahuan, kepribadian, motivasi, dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan software SPSS 22. Meotde analisi menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil dari penelitian nya menunjukan koefisien regresi untuk motivasi berprestasi sebesar 0,726.berarti jika variabel Motivasi Berprestasi naik sebesar 1 satuan, maka akan meningkatkan Kreativitas sebesar 0,726. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berprestasi memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap kreativitas mahasiswa. Kata Kunci : Motivasi Berprestasi, Kreativitas
