Abstract
Untuk dapat terjun ke dunia kerja setelah lulus kuliah, setiap mahasiswa harus memiliki kesiapan dalam menghadapi keprofesionalan pekerjaannya yang sesuai dengan bidang yang digelutinya. Mata kuliah praktik profesi ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran dunia kerja yang sebenarnya kepada mahasiswa sebagai bekal untuk kemudian hari, mahasiswa dapat memperoleh kesempatan untuk menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan yang telah diperoleh dalam perkuliahan untuk diterapkan dalam lapangan kerja, mahasiswa dapat mengenal pelaksanaan dan proses desain yang sebenarnya, Untuk menambah pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pemahaman yang tidak di dapat langsung dalam perkuliahan, Mengetahui masalah-masalah yang biasa terjadi di lapangan Memperoleh pengetahuan dan wawasan serta pengalaman dalam proses pelaksanaan pembangunan fisik bangunan. Dalam proposal laporan praktik profesi ini hal yang dibahas hanya difokuskan pada proses pekerjaan MEP ( Mechanical, Electrical, dan Plumbing ) dan melihat dan memahami pekerjaan MEP ( Mechanical, Electrical, dan Plumbing ). Metode pengumpulan data diantaranya Observasi, Wawancara , dan Dokumentasi. Pembangunan Proyek Early Years Center PIE milik Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS) di daerah Cilandak dan bekerja sama dengan kontraktor PT. Pilar Garba Inti, PT. Pilar Garba Inti merupakan perusahaan kontraktor MEP Grade 5 di bidang Instalasi dalam bangunan, Instalasi pemanasan, ventilasi udara dan AC dalam bangunan, termasuk perawatannya. PT. Pilar Garba Inti sebagai Main Contractor untuk lingkup MEP. Lingkup Pekerjaan pada plumbing diantaranya yaitu air bersih, air kotor dan air kotoran, air vent, dan air hujan. Lingkup pekerjaan Mechanical yaitu pada VAC yaitu perlengkapan tata udara pada dalam bangunan sedangkan Tata Suara melingkup berbagai speaker. Lingkup pekerjaan Elektrikal yaitu pekerjaan listrik kabel seperti intalasi telepon, sistem keamanan gedung. Semua sumber instalasi baik plumbing, mechanical, dan electrical berasal dari exisiting lapangan.To be able to plunge into the world of work after graduating from college, every student must have readiness in facing the professionalism of his work in accordance with the field that they do. This course of professional practice aims to provide a picture of the real world of work to students as a stock for the future, students can get the opportunity to apply the knowledge that has been obtained in the lecture to be applied in the field of work, students can recognize the actual implementation and design process Increase knowledge, skills, and understanding that cannot be directly in the lecture, Know the problems that usually happen in the field Gain knowledge and insight and experience in the process of building physical construction. In this professional practice report proposal the matter discussed only focused on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) work process and see and understand MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) work. Methods of data collection include Observation, Interview, and Documentation. Construction of Jakarta Intercultural School's PIE Early Years Center Project (JIS) in Cilandak area and in cooperation with PT. Pilar Garba Inti, PT. Pilar Garba Inti is a MEP Grade 5 contractor company in the field of Installation in buildings, Installation of heating, air vents and air conditioning in buildings, including maintenance. PT. Pilar Garba Inti as Main Contractor for MEP scope. Scope of work on the plumbing include clean water, dirty water and dirt water, vent water, and rain water. The scope of the Mechanical work is on the VAC that is the air conditioning equipment inside the building whereas the Sound System covers various speakers. Electrical work scope is electrical wiring work such as telephone installation, building security system. All plumbing, mechanical, and electrical installation sources come from field exisiting
