Abstract
Along with the development of the times, competitions began to emerge to compete the ability to play the game. With many prizes for the winners of the competition, triggers the emergence of many teenagers who wish to play and participate in existing competitions. Due to their level of interest in participating, many organizations began to organize large competitions so that they were more organized. Various competitions are held, such as PBVSI Tangerang which often organizes volleyball sports competitions (tournaments) to be participated in by a variety of volleyball clubs available. PBVSI Tangerang organizes volleyball tournaments using a manual registration and data collection system that causes the distribution of tournament registration information not to be widespread and there are errors in recording tournament data, lost data files, and others. SIVT or volleyball tournament management information system is the solution for everything needed to build a volleyball tournament system in PBVSI Tangerang running better. The purpose of this research is to produce a better volleyball tournament data management information system so that it is easily accessible to the wider community and also helps the PBVSI Tangerang committee in collecting data on the registration of the tournament to be held. In this study the development of the Waterfall system is used. The results of this study are volleyball tournament management information systems that help PBVSI Tangerang so that the process of data management and information dissemination is conveyed in a broad, accurate, and more effective and efficient manner. Keywords: Waterfall, SWOT, Tournament, Volleyball, PBVSI Tangerang Seiring berkembangnya zaman, mulai bermunculan kompetisi – kompetisi untuk mengadu kemampuan bermain permainan. Dengan banyak hadiah untuk pemenang kompetisi tersebut, memicu timbulnya banyak remaja yang berkeinginan untuk bermain dan ikut kompetisi – kompetisi yang ada. Dikarenakan tingkatnya minat untuk ikut berpartisipasi, banyak organisasi mulai menyelenggarakan kompetisi besar sehingga lebih terorganisir. Kompetisi yang diselenggarakan beranekaragam, seperti halnya PBVSI Tangerang yang sering menyelenggarakan kompetisi (turnamen) olahraga bola voli untuk diikuti berbagai macam club voli yang ada. PBVSI Tangerang menyelenggarakan turnamen bola voli menggunakan sistem pendaftaran dan pendataan yang masih manual sehingga menyebabkan penyebaran informasi pendaftaran turnamen tidak meluas dan adanya kesalahan dalam mencatat data turnamen, kehilangan berkas data, dan lainnya. SIVT atau sistem informasi pengelolaan turnamen bola voli merupakan solusi atas semua yang diperlukan untuk membangun sistem penyelenggaraan turnamen bola voli pada PBVSI Tangerang berjalan lebih baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan sistem informasi pengelolaan data turnamen bola voli lebih baik sehingga mudah diakses masyarakat luas juga membantu panitia PBVSI Tangerang dalam melakukan pendataan pendaftaran turnamen yang akan diselenggarakan . Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pengembangan sistem Waterfall. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi pengelolaan turnamen bola voli yang membantu PBVSI Tangerang agar proses pengelolaan data dan penyebaran informasi di sampaikan secara meluas, akurat, dan lebih efektif dan efisien.
