Abstract
The child adoption application is designed to provide information about the procedures and requirements for adoption of children to prospective foster parents (COTA) and the community. The application of information technology aims to assist and facilitate Foster Parents (COTA) in finding orphanages that accept adoption of children and the required requirements. The child adoption application is expected to be a solution to the problem of child adoption. This application is designed using the Waterfall method which contains several stages, namely: the analysis stage, the design stage, design, code, implementation and maintenance. The design concept in this child adoption application uses UML (Unfield Modeling Language), which consists of: Usecase Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams and Class Diagrams. The result of this research is a form of implementation of a child adoption application designed with the needs of prospective foster parents (COTA) and the orphanage in adopting a child. Aplikasi adopsi anak dirancang untuk memberitahukan informasi tentang tatacara dan persyaratan adopsi anak kepada Calon Orangtua Asuh (COTA) dan masyarakat. Penerapan teknologi informasi ini bertujuan untuk membantu dan memfasilitasi Calon Orangtua Asuh (COTA) dalam menemukan panti asuhan yang menerima pengadopsian anak dan persyaratan yang dibutuhkan. Aplikasi adopsi anak diharapkan menjadi salah satu solusi dalam permasalahan tentang adopsi anak. Aplikasi ini dirancang menggunakan metode Waterfall yang berisikan beberapa tahapan yaitu: tahap analisis, tahap perancangan, desain, kode, implementasi dan maintenance. Konsep desain pada aplikasi adopsi anak ini menggunakan UML (Unfield Modeling Language), yang terdiri dari: Usecase Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram dan Class Diagram. Hasil yang penelitian ini adalah bentuk implementasi aplikasi adopsi anak yang dirancang dengan kebutuhan Calon Orangtua Asuh (COTA) dan pihak panti asuhan dalam melakukan pengadopsian anak.
