Abstract

Buku anak hadir sebagai media belajar, membaca, dan berinteraksi. Penggunaan warna didominasi dengan warna-warna cerah menyesuaikan dengan karakter usia anak-anak yang ceria, periang, dan bersemangat. Pemilihan jenis font huruf sans serif (tanpa kait) untuk bagian judul buku dan serif untuk isi buku. Pada isi buku menggunakan font huruf golongan serif untuk mempertegas tingkat keterbacaan anak-anak. Lift the flap hadir sebagai buku anak dengan lipatan jendela kertas membentuk pola gambar dan terdapat isi bacaan maupun gambar dibalik lipatan jendela kertas pada setiap halamannya. Konten/isi buku ini bertema buah-buahan karena sosok buah terbilang sangat dekat dengan lingkungan kehidupan, anak-anak diharapkan dapat dengan mudah memahami isi buku, juga menyukai buah-buahan karena manfaat dan kandungan vitaminnya baik untuk kesehatan. Melalui buku ini orang tua dapat berperan sebagai audience sekunder jika audience primer (anak-anak) kesulitan dalam memahami kosa kata. Dengan begitu aktifitas belajar dan membaca bisa dijadikan sebagai pengisi waktu luang yang positif bagi anak dan orang tua.Children's books come as a medium for learning, reading, and interacting. The use of color is dominated by vibrant colors adjusting to the character of children's age that is cheerful, jovial, and vibrant. Selection of font type sans serif (no hooks) for the title of the book and serif for the contents of the book. On the contents of the book using serif font type to reinforce the legibility of children. Lift the flap is present as a childrend's book with folds of paper windows forming drawing patterns and there is both the reading and the pictures behind the folded paper windows on each page. The content of this book is themed fruits because the figures are very close to the environment of life, childrens are expected to easily understand the contents of the book, also liked the fruits because the benefits and content of vitamins good for health. Through this book parents can act as a secondary audience if the primary audience (childrens) difficulty in understanding the vocabulary. Therefore learning and reading activities can be used as a positive spare time for children and parents.
