Abstract

Negara Indonesia merupakan salah satu penghasil kelapa terbesar di dunia, dikarenakan Indonesia terletak pada wilayah yang beriklim tropis. Limbah kelapa sendiri adalah limbah yang tergolong organik serta memiliki fungsional yang baik dan karakter yang unik, kuat, keras dan memiliki bentuk kelengkungan yang khas. Pengolahan limbah kelapa ini juga dapat mendukung gerakan ramah lingkungan sehingga dapat meminimalisir tentang terjadinya peningkatan global warming pada bumi ini. Sehingga muncul sebuah ide kreatif dengan cara memanfaatkan limbah kelapa untuk dijadikan sebuah karya seni kriya yang berbentuk lampu tidur dengan penambahan fungsi sistem alarm serta penampil jam led. Dari hasil eksplorasi bahan limbah kelapa yang digunakan seperti tempurung dan sabut kelapa sehingga menjadi suatu bentuk yang unik dan memunculkan motif pada warna yang dihasilkan oleh limbah kelapa. Lampu tidur banyak membantu bagi sebagian orang yang tidak bisa tidur dalam keadaan gelap dan dapat bermanfaat bagi si pengguna lampu tidur agar tidur lebih berkualitas, mengurangi kenaikan minus mata, merileksasikan pikiran, dan juga sebagai media menstabilkan emosi.Indonesia is one of the largest coconut producers in the world, because Indonesia is located in tropical regions. Coconut waste itself is a waste that is classified as organic and has a good functional and unique character, strong, hard and has a unique form of curvature. Coconut waste treatment can also support environmentally friendly movement so as to minimize the occurrence of increasing global warming on this earth. So that emerged a creative idea by utilizing the waste of coconut to be made a work of craft art that shaped sleeping lamp with the addition of alarm system function and the viewer of the led clock. From the exploration results of coconut waste materials used such as coconut shell and coconut so it becomes a unique shape and create a motif on the color produced by the waste of coconut. Sleep light is helpful for some people who can not sleep in the dark and can be useful for sleep light users to sleep better quality, reduce the rise of minus the eye, relax the mind, and also as a media to stabilize emotions.
