Abstract
This research aims to observe one of the machines at PT. Mejistar Adhijaya, namely Nissie 360 Ton, to produce water gutters using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness and Overall Resource Effectiveness methods. This company has 3 machines of large size and capacity to produce gutters, namely the Nissie 360 Ton machine, the Nissie 350 Ton machine and the Toshiba 360 Ton machine. After observing the Nissie 360 Ton machine, there were problems such as: elements on the nozzle that were not hot, elements on the nozzle that broke and hydraulic seals leaking causing the downtime on the machine to be higher compared to other machines of the same type. After conducting research, there are proposals to improve the performance rate problem which consists of human, material, machine and method factors. In the human factor, the proposed improvements that must be made are the right to be replaced by another operator who does not have as much work, the material factor, namely carrying out inspections again before the material is put back into the machine, the method factor, namely holding training for operators to increase knowledge and skills. Keywords: Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Overall Resource Effectiveness, Gutters, performance rate, Nissie 360 Ton Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati salah satu mesin yang ada di PT. Mejistar Adhijaya yaitu Nissie 360 Ton untuk memproduksi talang air dengan menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness dan Overall Resource Effectiveness. Pada perusahaan tersebut memiliki 3 mesin berukuran dan berkapasitas besar untuk memproduksi talang air yaitu mesin Nissie 360 Ton, mesin Nissie 350 Ton dan mesin Toshiba 360 Ton. Setelah diamati pada mesin Nissie 360 Ton, memiliki permasalahan seperti : elemen pada nozzle yang tidak panas, elemen pada nozzle yang putus dan seal hidrolik bocor menyebabkan waktu downtime pada mesin tersebut lebih tinggi dibandingkan mesin lainnya yang berjenis sama. Setelah dilakukan penelitian terdapat usulan perbaikan masalah performance rate yang terdiri dari faktor manusia, material, mesin dan metode. Pada faktor manusia ususlan perbaikan yang harus dilakukan yaitu berhak digantikan operator lain yang tidak begitu banyak kerja, faktor material yaitu melakukan inspeksi kembali sebelum material dimasukkan kembali kedalam mesin, faktor metode yaitu mengadakan pelatihan terhadap operator untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan.
