Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas, dan petumbuhan penjualan terhadap financial distress dengan studi empiris Perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2020- 2022. Dari populasi sebanyak 239 perusahaan manufaktur, sampel yang dihasilkan menggunakan metode purposive sampling adalah sebanyak 66 perusahaan, dan dengan rentang waktu 3 tahun maka jumlahnya adalah 198 sampel data. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan tools pengolah data SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas, dan pertumbuhan penjualan berpengaruh terhadap financial distress, dengan besaran pengaruh sebanyak 61,3%, dan sisanya yaitu 38,7% mungkin dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya diluar penelitian ini. Kemudian secara parsial, ukuran perusahaan dan pertumbuhan penjualan berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap financial distress, sedangkan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap financial distress. This research was conducted to determine the effect of company size, profitability and sales growth on financial distress with an empirical study of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2022. From a population of 239 manufacturing companies, the sample produced using the purposive sampling method was 66 companies, and over a period of 3 years the number was 198 data samples. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression using SPSS version 25 data processing tools. The research results show that company size, profitability and sales growth simultaneously influence financial distress, with an influence amount of 61,3%, and the remaining 38,7% may be influenced by other variables outside this research. Then partially, company size and sales growth have a negative effect on financial distress, while profitability has a positive effect on financial distress.
