Abstract

The KAI Education and Training Center (Pusdiklat) is a forum for KAI's vision of developing human resource competencies through organizing training programs intended for KAI workers, including drivers, conductors, and other railway professions. MICE "Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition" (Indonesian: Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions), in the tourism or exhibition industry, is a type of tourism activity in which a large group, usually carefully planned, goes together for a specific purpose. The world of MICE is one of the mainstays of tourism in several developed countries. The world of MICE is a promising business world. However, only a very few Indonesian parties want to play in the MICE world. Maybe one of the causes is the lack of knowledge about MICE in Indonesia. Contemporary Architecture is a style of architectural flow in its time which characterizes freedom of expression, the desire to show something different, and is a new flow or combination of several architectural schools. The design of the KAI Corporate University Laswi MICE Building is the result of an analysis of how to create a building as a sustainable Urban Forest Campus that prioritizes innovation, professionalism and sustainability. By carrying out the concepts of Dynamic Learning and Working Environment, Create Micro Climate, Sensible Green & Landscape, Water Conservation and Accessible Campus, from these concepts in designing MICE KAI Corporate University Laswi uses a contemporary architectural approach in building design to maximize building design that pays attention to response. analysis of the environment. Keywords: KAI Corporate University MICE Design, MICE Building, KAI Education and Training Center, Contemporary Architecture Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan (Pusdiklat) KAI sebagai wadah dalam visi pengembangan kompetensi SDM KAI melalui penyelenggaraan program diklat yang diperuntukkan untuk para pekerja KAI, baik masinis, kondektur, hingga profesi perkeretaapian lainnya. MICE "Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition" (Indonesia: Pertemuan, Insentif, Konvensi, dan Pameran), dalam industri pariwisata atau pameran, adalah suatu jenis kegiatan pariwisata di mana suatu kelompok besar, biasanya direncanakan dengan matang, berangkat bersama untuk suatu tujuan tertentu. Dunia MICE merupakan salah satu andalan pariwisata di beberapa negara maju. Dunia MICE merupakan salah satu dunia bisnis yang menjanjikan. Namun baru sedikit sekali pihak Indonesia yang mau bermain di dunia MICE. Mungkin salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang MICE di Indonesia. Arsitektur Kontemporer adalah suatu gaya aliran arsitektur pada zamannya yang mencirikan kebebasan berekspresi, keinginan untuk menampilkan sesuatu yang berbeda, dan merupakan sebuah aliran baru atau penggabungan dari beberapa aliran arsitektur Rancangan Gedung MICE KAI Corporate University Laswi ini merupakan hasil analisis dari bagaimana menciptakan sebuah bangunan sebagai Urban Forest Campus yang berkelanjutan mengedepankan inovasi, profesionalisme dan keberlanjutan. Dengan mengusung konsep gagasan Dynamic Learning and Working Environment ,Create Micro Climate, Sensible Green & Landscape, Water Conservation dan Accessible Campus, dari konsep gagasan tersubut dalam perancangan MICE KAI Corporate University Laswi memakai pendekatan arsitektur Kontemporer dalam desain bangunan guna memaksimalkan desain bangunan yang memperhatikan respon analisa dari lingkungan.
