Abstract

One of the efforts to realize increased human resources, PT. KAI plans to build a "KAI Corporate University Complex" on one of the Pusdiklat lands, namely Pusdiklat Ir. H. Djuanda who is in Bandung, Referring to the substance of the development stages in the master plan document, it is known that the development plan is a plaza area facility for the forecourt of the development land, main entry and exit gates, as well as a MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) building ). PT KAI, in collaboration with the Indonesian Architects Association (IAI) West Java, held an architectural design competition which was used as the author's final assignment. The KAI Corporate University MICE building will be built in the KAI Corporate University Complex which is located in the Laswi area, Bandung City, West Java Province. This design was created using a Contemporary Architecture concept approach where the transparent facade is highlighted. In this design there are main facilities, namely an Auditorium, Gallery, library and offices with a plaza and active park which visitors can enjoy and which also serve as public space and green open space Salah satu upaya mewujudkan peningkatan sumber daya manusia, PT. KAI merencanakan pembangunan “Komplek KAI Corporate University” pada salah satu lahan Pusdiklat yaitu Pusdiklat Ir. H. Djuanda yang berada di Bandung, Mengacu pada substansi tahapan pembangunan dalam dokumen master plan, diketahui bahwa rencana pembangunan yaitu adalah fasilitas area plaza halaman muka lahan pengembangan, gerbang keluar-masuk utama, serta gedung MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions). PT KAI bekerja sama dengan Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia (IAI) Jawa Barat, mengadakan sayembara desain arsitektur yang dimana sayembara ini dijadikan sebagai Tugas Akhir penulis. Gedung MICE KAI Corporate University ini akan dibangun di Komplek KAI Corporate University yang berada di kawasan Laswi, Kota Bandung, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Perancangan ini dibuat dengan pendekatan konsep Arsitektur Kontemporer dimana façade translucent yang ditonjolkan. Dalam perancangan ini terdapat fasilitas utama yaitu Auditorium, Galeri, perpustakaan, serta kantor dengan terdapat plaza dan taman aktif yang dapat dinikmati pengunjung dan sekaligus menjadi ruang publik dan ruang terbuka hijau
