Abstract
- Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) is one of the largest commercial banks in Indonesia, playing a significant role in national economic development and community empowerment. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) provides BRI Mobile Banking services, which is a banking facility that enables customers to perform transactions directly using smartphones. This research aims to investigate the implementation of IT governance using the COBIT 5 framework in the context of improving the quality of mobile banking application services. Capability models method is employed as an approach to measure and enhance the organization's capabilities in managing information technology. The research is conducted by analyzing the necessary steps to implement COBIT 5 in enhancing the quality of mobile banking application services. Data is collected through literature studies and field research involving direct observation and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The practical implication of this research is that organizations can utilize the COBIT 5 framework with capability model method to enhance the quality of their mobile banking application services and improve user confidence. By integrating the Deliver Service and Support (DSS) and Align Plan and Organize (APO) domains in the implementation of IT Governance, it is expected that BRI can enhance the quality of mobile banking application services through more accurate decision-making and increased operational efficiency. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) adalah salah satu bank komersial terbesar di Indonesia yang memiliki peran penting dalam pembangunan ekonomi nasional dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Bank rakyat Indonesia (BRI) menyediakan layanan BRI Mobile Banking, yaitu fasilitas layanan perbankan yang memberikan kemudahan nasabah dalam melakukan transaksi secara langsung dengan menggunakan smartphone. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki penerapan IT governance menggunakan framework COBIT 5 dalam konteks meningkatkan kualitas layanan aplikasi mobile banking. Metode capability models digunakan sebagai pendekatan untuk mengukur dan meningkatkan kemampuan organisasi dalam mengelola teknologi informasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menganalisis langkah-langkah yang diperlukan untuk menerapkan COBIT 5 dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan aplikasi mobile banking. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur dan penelitian lapangan yang melibatkan observasi langsung serta wawancara dengan pemangku kepentingan terkait. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa organisasi dapat menggunakan framework COBIT 5 dengan metode capability model untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan aplikasi mobile banking mereka dan meningkatkan kepercayaan pengguna. Dengan mengintegrasikan domain Deliver Service and Support (DSS) dan Align Plan and Organize (APO) dalam penerapan IT Governance, diharapkan BRI dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan aplikasi mobile banking melalui keputusan yang lebih akurat dan peningkatan efisiensi operasional.
