Abstract

The need for data, voice and video (tripleplay) services is increasing so rapidly, a network is needed that is capable of providing stable, real time services with wide bandwidth. FTTx networks are able to meet these needs as long as the link remains within the required power threshold. For fiber optic networks with GPON technology from OLT to ONT link power budget required is 28 dB. Core usage is also very crucial, where what often happens is that it costs more money and many cores are unused. The core reuse scheme is available to be combined with a combination of main splitter and splitter to maximize FTTx coverage distance. For a maximum number of users of 16, the combination of main spliter 1:2 and ODP 1:8, the maximum distance is 19 km (ONT receiving power level -27.93 dBm), while the combination of main spliter 1:4 and ODP 1:4, maximum distance is 17 km (ONT receive power level -27.65 dBm). For a maximum number of users of 32, the combination of main spliter 1:2 and ODP 1:16, the maximum distance is 8 km (ONT receiving power level -27.8 dBm) while the combination of main spliter 1:4 and ODP 1:8, maximum distance is 9 km (ONT receive power level -27.98 dBm). For a maximum number of users of 64, the combination of ODC 1:2 and ODP 1:32 spliter, the maximum distance is only 100 meters (ONT receiving power level - 28,385), while the combination of main spliter 1:4 and ODP 1:16, distance is 100 meters (level ONT receiving power -28,585). Keywords: FTTH, GPON, NETWORK, LINK POWER BUDGET Kebutuhan layanan data, suara dan video (tripleplay) meningkat begitu pesat, dibutuhkan jaringan yang mampu menyediakan layanan yang stabil, real time dengan bandwidth yang lebar. Jaringan FTTx mampu memenuhi kebutuhan ini selama link tetap di batas ambang daya yang dibutuhkan. Untuk jaringan fiber optik dengan teknologi GPON dari OLT sampai ONT link power budget yang dipersyaratkan adalah 28 dB. Penggunaan core juga sangat krusial dimana hal yang sering terjadi adalah menghabiskan lebih banyak biaya dan banyaknya core yang tidak terpakai. Skema reuse core hadir untuk dipadu-padankan dengan kombinasi main splitter dan splitter untuk memaksimalkan jarak jangkauan FTTx. Untuk jumlah user maksimal 16, kombinasi main spliter 1:2 dan ODP 1:8, jarak maksimal 19 km (level daya terima ONT -27,93 dBm), sedangkan kombinasi main spliter 1:4 dan ODP 1:4, jarak maksimal 17 km (level daya terima ONT -27,65 dBm). Untuk jumlah user maksimal 32, kombinasi main spliter 1:2 dan ODP 1:16, jarak maksimal 8 km (level daya terima ONT -27,8 dBm) sedangkan kombinasi main spliter 1:4 dan ODP 1:8, jarak maksimal 9 km (level daya terima ONT -27,98 dBm). Untuk jumlah user maksimal 64, kombinasi spliter ODC 1:2 dan ODP 1:32, jarak maksimal hanya 100 meter (level daya terima ONT -28,385), sedangkan kombinasi main spliter 1:4 dan ODP 1:16, jarak 100 meter (level daya terima ONT -28,585).
