Abstract

PT. Bina Usaha Sejahtera is facing several recurring issues, particularly in the increasing number of rejected goods. The purpose of this study is to analyze the main causes of rejected goods in Safety Shoes production and to evaluate and analyze the implementation of Statistical Quality Control (SQC) methods and the 7 quality control tools in overcoming the minimal amount of rejected goods in Safety Shoes production at PT Bina Usaha Sejahtera. Additionally, this research aims to propose improvement actions and enhance the quality of Safety Shoes products at PT Binusa using the 5W+1H method. The sample population of this research is the data collection results using check sheets for Safety Shoes during 2023, from January to October 2023. The requirement for the percentage of defective products within one year is less than 5% of the total production of the Binusa company. The use of Seven Tools method (Seven Quality Control Tools), the sample used for research of type BRG 0701 S1P amounted to 1,596 Pcs. SQC successfully reduced the deviation rate from 6% to 1%, which positively impacted the efficiency and overall quality of Safety Shoes products. PT Bina Usaha Sejahtera has committed to promoting a culture of quality excellence by streamlining production processes, providing regular training, and structuring production processes. Keywords: Statistical Quality Control (SQC), Safety Shoes,Seven Tools PT. Bina Usaha Sejahtera menghadapi beberapa permasalahan yang sering terjadi, terutama dalam peningkatan jumlah barang Reject. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penyebab utama terjadinya barang reject dalam produksi Safety Shoes serta untuk mengevaluasi dan menganalisis penerapan metode Statistical Quality Control (SQC) dan 7 alat pengendalian kualitas dalam mengatasi minimnya barang reject dalam produksi Safety Shoes di PT Bina Usaha Sejahtera. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengusulkan tindakan perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas produk Safety Shoes di PT Binusa dengan menggunakan metode 5W+1H. Populasi sampel penelitian ini adalah hasil pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan check sheet untuk Safety Shoes selama tahun 2023, mulai dari bulan Januari hingga Oktober 2023. Persyaratan untuk presentase produk cacat dalam satu tahun adalah kurang dari 5% dari total produksi perusahaan Binusa. Penggunaan metode Seven Tools (Tujuh Alat Pengendalian Kualitas), Sample yang dijadikan untuk penelitian tipe BRG 0701 S1P sejumlah 1.596 Pcs.SQC berhasil menurunkan tingkat penyimpangan dari 6% menjadi 1%, yang berdampak positif terhadap efisiensi dan kualitas keseluruhan produk Safety Shoes. PT Bina Usaha Sejahtera telah berkomitmen untuk mendorong budaya keunggulan kualitas dengan melancarkan proses produksi, memberikan pelatihan secara rutin, dan mengatur proses produksi secara terstruktur.
