Abstract

Corporate University is education designed to help organizations or institutions achieve goals through learning activities and knowledge. Based on this, KAI Corporate University wants to develop the Education and Training Center area, namely the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Building and supporting facilities in the KAI Corporate University Complex which are of good quality. MICE development in the Laswi area, Bandung City, can be a smart and sustainable investment, which not only supports the MICE sector but also strengthens the tourism industry in Bandung City and West Java Province as a whole. In designing PT KAI Corporate University's MICE, using a Tropical Architecture concept approach, it is hoped that this design can adapt to tropical climate conditions and the pressure on thermal, visual and audiovisual comfort by applying it to buildings such as natural lighting and measurements, the use of indoor voids and the use of sunlight. shading to reduce heat from outside the building and strengthen the character of KAI Cooperative University's land planning as a preserving City Forest with significant green open space and vegetation functions as well as opening access to public space by activating it as a plaza, commercial space and active park. Keywords: MICE, KAI Corporate, Tropical Architecture Corporate University adalah pendidikan yang dirancang untuk membantu organisasi atau lembaga dalam mencapai tujuannya dengan kegiatan pembelajaran dan pengetahuan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut KAI Corporate University ingin melakukan pengembangan Kawasan Pusdiklat yaitu Gedung MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) dan Fasilitas Pendukungnya dalam Komplek KAI Corporate University yang berkualitas baik. Pembangunan MICE di Kawasan Laswi, Kota Bandung, dapat menjadi investasi yang cerdas dan berkelanjutan, yang tidak hanya mendukung sektor MICE tetapi juga memperkuat industri pariwisata Kota Bandung dan Provinsi Jawa Barat secara keseluruhan. Dalam Perancangan MICE PT KAI Corporate University, menggunakan pendekatan konsep Arsitektur Tropis, diharapkan desain ini dapat menyesuaikan dengan kondisi iklim tropis dan menekankan pada kenyamanan thermal, visual, dan audiovisual dengan menerapkan pada bangunan seperti pencahayaan dan ventilasi alami, penggunaan void dalam ruangan serta penggunaan sun shading untuk mengurangi panas dari luar bangunan dan memperkuat karakter lahan perencanaan KAI Coperate University sebagai Hutan Kota dengan melestarikan fungsi ruang terbuka hijau dan Vegetasi yang signifikan serta membuka akses ruang publik dengan aktivasi sebagai plaza, ruang komersial, dan taman aktif.
