Abstract

The design of the KAI MICE Building with a Sustainable Eco Development approach aims to create a building that is environmentally friendly and sustainable in the use of resources. Through the integration of green design principles and ecological development, the building is expected to reduce negative impacts on the surrounding environment and promote sustainable practices. This approach involves the use of environmentally friendly materials that can be recycled and have a low carbon footprint. In addition, this building design pays attention to energy efficiency by maximizing natural lighting, cross ventilation, and the use of renewable energy sources such as solar panels. In addition, the KAI MICE Building is also designed to pay attention to local ecological balance by maintaining native vegetation and promoting urban agriculture in the surroundings. Thus, this building not only functions as an event and meeting center, but also as an ecosystem that supports environmental sustainability. By applying the Sustainable Eco Development approach in designing the KAI MICE Building, it is hoped that it can make a positive contribution to the environment, society and local economy. Apart from that, this project can also be an example for other buildings in encouraging green design practices and sustainable development in the future. Keywords : Sustainable Eco Architecture, Green Architecture, Mice Building Perancangan KAI MICE Building dengan pendekatan Sustainable Eco Development bertujuan untuk menciptakan bangunan yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan dalam penggunaan sumber daya. Melalui integrasi prinsip-prinsip desain hijau dan pengembangan ekologis, bangunan ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan sekitar dan mempromosikan praktik-praktik yang berkelanjutan. Pendekatan ini melibatkan penggunaan bahan ramah lingkungan yang dapat didaur ulang dan memiliki jejak karbon rendah. Selain itu, desain bangunan ini memperhatikan efisiensi energi dengan memaksimalkan pencahayaan almi, ventilasi silang, dan pemanfaatan sumber energi terbarukan seperti panel surya. Selain itu, KAI MICE Building juga dirancang untuk memperhatikan keseimbangan ekologi lokal dengan mempertahankan vegetasi asli dan mempromosikan pertanian perkotaan di sekitarnya. Dengan demikian, bangunan ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pusat acara dan pertemuan, tetapi juga sebagai ekosistem yang mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan Sustainable Eco Development dalam perancangan KAI MICE Building diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap lingkungan, masyarakat, dan ekonomi lokal. Selain itu, proyek ini juga dapat menjadi contoh bagi bangunan-bangunan lainnya dalam mendorong praktik-praktik desain hijau dan pembangunan berkelanjutan dimasa depan.
