Abstract

Apartemen Four Seasons Residences adalah salah satu apartemen yang terletak ditengah kota Jakarta, berlokasi di Satiabudi Jakarta Selatan, perkembangan teknologi Internet yang semakin berkembang pesat. PT. Telkom yang saat ini sedang gencar untuk melakukan modernisasi perangkat melakukan penggantian jaringan dari jaringan kabel tembaga ke jaringan fiber optik untuk melayani permintaan pelanggan. Perancangan FTTB menggunakan teknologi GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) dipilih untuk memberikan layanan kepada penghuni berupa akses internet, voice, dan multimedia atau yang biasa disebut tripleplay. Perancangan diawali dengan melakukan survey lapangan, menentukan jalur fiber optik, merancang jaringan kemudian menentukan spesifikasi perangkat yang dibutuhkan dan menganalisa jaringan menggunakan Power link budget sebagai parameternya. Dari pengukuran redaman rata-rata pada pengukuran adalah 20.30 dB, sedangkan pada perhitungan didapat redaman rata-rata pada jaringan FTTB ini dari ODC ke ODP adalah 23,38 dB, ada selisih sebesar 3,08 dB sehingga didapati persentase error sebesar 13,17%. Dari 59 ODP terpasang dan dari hasil pengukuran redaman lebih rendah tidak terlalu jauh dari hasil perhitungan sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa konsep kerugian saert optic sangat baik dimana standar redaman loss menurut rekomendasi ITU-T G- 984 yaitu 13 – 28 dB The Four Seasosn Residences Apartment is one of the apartments located in the middle of Jakarta, located in Satiabudi, South Jakarta, where Internet technology is developing rapidly. PT. Telkom, which is currently intensively modernizing its equipment, is replacing its network from a copper cable network to a fiber optic network to serve customer demand. The FTTB design uses GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) technology which was chosen to provide services to residents in the form of internet access, voice and multimedia or what is usually called tripleplay. The design begins with conducting a field survey, determining the fiber optic route, designing the network then determining the required device specifications and analyzing the network using the Power link budget as a parameter. From the measurements, the average attenuation in the measurements was 20.30 dB, while in the calculations, it was obtained that the average attenuation in this FTTB network from ODC to ODP was 23.38 dB, there was a difference of 3.08 dB so that an error percentage of 13.17%. Of the 59 ODP installed and from the results of the lower attenuation measurements it is not too far from the calculation results so that it can be said that the concept of fiber optic loss is very good where the standard attenuation loss according to ITU-T G-984 recommendations is 13 – 28 dB.
