Abstract
The Final Project aims to design and implement an automated liquid filling system (auto charging liquid) using Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) control and Human Machine Interface (HMI). The system is designed to enhance accuracy, speed, and consistency in the liquid filling process across various industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and manufacturing. The research methodology includes a literature review to acquire theoretical foundations on PLC, HMI, and liquid filling systems. Subsequently, the system is designed by detailing PLC input components, PLC output components, and HMI interface. A wiring diagram is created as a guide for system implementation, and a block diagram is used to illustrate the overall workflow. The research results encompass the design of the PLC program using ladder diagrams and the HMI interface design to facilitate system operation and monitoring. System testing is conducted to ensure the successful implementation, involving liquid filling tests and data logging. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem otomatisasi pengisian cairan (auto charging liquid) menggunakan kontrol Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) dan antarmuka Human Machine Interface (HMI). Sistem ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan akurasi, kecepatan, dan konsistensi dalam proses pengisian cairan pada berbagai industri seperti kimia, farmasi, makanan, dan manufaktur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur untuk mendapatkan dasar teori tentang PLC, HMI, dan sistem pengisian cairan. Selanjutnya, dilakukan perancangan sistem dengan merinci komponen input PLC, komponen output PLC, dan antarmuka HMI. Wiring diagram disusun sebagai panduan implementasi sistem, dan block diagram digunakan untuk memberikan gambaran alur kerja secara keseluruhan. Hasil dari penelitian ini mencakup perancangan program PLC menggunakan diagram tangga (ladder diagram) dan desain antarmuka HMI untuk memudahkan pengoperasian dan pemantauan sistem. Pengujian sistem dilakukan untuk memastikan keberhasilan implementasi, melibatkan pengujian pengisian cairan dan data logger.
