Abstract

Portable sauna is a device designed to provide a sauna experience, using a simple design so that it can be moved and used in various places. Sauna is a way to refresh or relax muscles. The working principle of an electric sauna is basically the application of the theory of heat transfer by free convection. , that is, when an object is placed in a fluid whose temperature is lower than that of the object, heat will flow from the object to the fluid and cause a change in the density of the fluid layers near the surface. A sauna therapy device is a device created to produce stable warmth, namely 40oC – 60oC. This research method is an analysis of heat transfer in a portable double boiler sauna. Therefore, this research aims to determine the temperature value of hot air in a portable sauna tent, to determine the volume of water that is reduced in a portable sauna and to test the comfortable temperature produced according to ISO 7730. So the research is about the circulation and heat transfer that occurs in a sauna tent. It is very important for it to be accepted by the body. The temperatures obtained in this study were 49.8 oC, 50.6 oC and 52.7 oC. The average body temperature increased by 1.7oC and from the results of the test data obtained from 10 people in the area around the test, the results of this research were that the tent temperature was 55.5℃ while the body temperature was 34.3℃, the water volume decreased by 70 ml, in the tent the temperature was 58.8℃ and body temperature was 35.5℃ the water volume was reduced by 100 ml, at the tent temperature was 63.2℃ and body temperature was 36.1℃ the water volume was reduced by 130 ml and the room temperature was 67.8℃ and body temperature was 36.5℃ the water volume was reduced by 160 ml. with a body weight of 80 kg had a higher resistance to the temperature of the sauna room for 20 minutes, while respondents with a body weight of 60 kg had a lower resistance to the temperature of the sauna room for 20 minutes. Keywords: Heat Transfer, Sauna Tent, Double Boiler, Efficiency, Water Steam Sauna portable sebuah alat yang dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman sauna, dengan menggunakan design yang simple sehingga dapat dipindahkan dan digunakan di berbagai tempat, Sauna merupakan salah satu penyegar atau untuk merelaksasi otot, Prinsip kerja alat sauna listrik pada dasarnya merupakan penerapan teori perpindahan kalor secara konveksi bebas, yaitu bilamana sebuah benda ditempatkan dalam suatu fluida yang suhunya lebih rendah daripada benda tersebut, panas akan mengalir dari benda ke fluid aitu serta mengakibatkan perubahan kerapatan lapisan-lapisan fluida di dekat permukaan. Alat terapi sauna merupakan alat yang diciptakan untuk menghasilkan kehangatan stabil yaitu 40oC – 60oC. Metode penelitian ini adalah analisis perpindahan panas pada sauna portable double boiler. Oleh karena itu, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai temperatur udara panas di dalam tenda sauna portable, untuk mengetahui volume air yang berkurang pada sauna portable dan menguji temperatur nyaman yang dihasilkan menurut ISO 7730. Maka penelitian mengenai sirkulasi dan perpindahan panas yang terjadi didalam tenda sauna sangat penting supaya dapat diterima oleh tubuh. Suhu yang didapat pada penelitian ini adalah 49.8 oC, 50.6 oC dan 52,7 oC. Rata – rata suhu tubuh mengalami kenaikan 1,7oC dan dari hasil data pengujian didapat dari 10 orang Masyarakat di daerah sekitar pengujian, hasil dari penelitian ini adalah suhu tenda 55.5℃ sedangkan suhu tubuh 34.3℃ volume air berkurang 70 ml, pada suhu tenda 58.8℃ dan suhu tubuh 35.5℃ volume air berkurang 100 ml, pada suhu tenda 63.2℃ dan suhu tubuh 36.1℃ volume air berkurang 130 ml dan suhu bilik 67.8℃ dan suhu tubuh 36.5℃ volume air berkurang 160 ml, Dari hasil pengujian alat sauna portable bahwasannya responden dengan berat badan 80 kg memiliki daya tahan yang lebih tinggi terhadap temperatur ruangan sauna dengan waktu 20 menit, sedangkan responden dengan berat badan 60 kg memiliki daya tahan yang rendah terhadap temperatur ruangan sauna jika dengan waktu 20 menit.
