Abstract

This research explores the implementation of Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) as a strategy to enhance network security at PT Call Centre. Confronting increasingly complex security threats, NGFW integrates conventional firewall features with advanced intelligence, including high-level threat detection and role-focused access management. The research focuses on the evaluation of the PT Call Centre case, revealing that the implementation of NGFW successfully improves threat detection, application traffic efficiency, and simplifies security policy management. The findings provide insights into the potential of NGFW as an effective tool in addressing network security threats, offering guidance for other organizations to strengthen network security and enhance business and operational continuity performance. Key Word : Network Security, Firewall, Network, NGFW Penelitian ini membahas penerapan "Next Generation Firewall" (NGFW) sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan keamanan jaringan di PT Call Centre. Dalam menghadapi ancaman keamanan yang semakin kompleks, NGFW mengintegrasikan fitur-fitur firewall konvensional dengan kecerdasan tingkat lanjut, seperti deteksi ancaman tingkat tinggi dan pengelolaan akses yang berfokus pada peran. Fokus penelitian pada evaluasi kasus PT Call Centre menunjukkan bahwa implementasi NGFW berhasil meningkatkan pendeteksian ancaman, efisiensi lalu lintas aplikasi, dan penyederhanaan kebijakan keamanan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang potensi NGFW sebagai alat efektif dalam menghadapi ancaman keamanan jaringan, memberikan panduan bagi organisasi lain dalam memperkuat keamanan jaringan dan meningkatkan kinerja kelangsungan bisnis dan operasional Kata Kunci : Keamanan Jaringan, Firewall, Jaringan, NGFW
