Abstract

According to Rustam, in 2010, an embung is an artificial structure designed to collect and store water with a specific small volume capacity, which is smaller than that of a reservoir or dam. Due to limited land availability and the frequent occurrence of heavy rainfall and flooding in the Waringin Permai Housing area, the embung is considered the solution. The presence of the Wirajasa Embung is expected to mitigate the impact of flooding in the Waringin Permai Housing area. In this study, an analysis will be conducted, including flood discharge calculations for return periods of 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 years. The research will focus on the impact of the Wirajasa Embung on the Buaran Watershed and the extent to which it can reduce flood discharge through the construction of the Wirajasa Reservoir. The research begins with data collection, studying frequency analysis calculations, synthetic Nakayasu and Gama I flood hydrographs, and flood tracking using the Level Pool Routing (LPR) method. The results of the research show that the flood discharge that occurred before the existence of the Wirajasa Reservoir using the Nakayasu synthetic unit hydrograph at return periods 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 was 103.3 m3/sec, 131.56 m3/sec, 150.27 m3/sec, 173.93 m3/sec, 191.47 m3/sec, 211.49 m3/sec. The synthetic unit hydrograph of Gama I at return periods 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 is 32.73 m3/sec, 41.24 m3/sec, 47.63 m3/sec, 54.01 m3/sec, 59.29 m3/sec, 64.54 m3/sec . After the Wirajasa Embung was established, the flood discharge became 84.04 m3/sec, 107.04 m3/sec, 122.27 m3/sec, 141.54 m3/sec, 155.81 m3/sec, 171.70 m3/sec using Nakayasu. Meanwhile for Gama I the flood discharge was 31.53 m3/sec, 38.89 m3/sec, 42.34 m3/sec, 45.78 m3/sec 48.64 m3/sec, 51.99 m3/sec Menurut Rustam, 2010 embung adalah bangunan artifisial yang berfungsi untuk menampung dan menyimpan air dengan kapasitas volume kecil tertentu, lebih kecil dari kapasitas waduk/bendungan. Karena keterbatasannya lahan, curah air hujan yang tinggi dan banjir terus menjadi permasalahan pada Perumahan Waringin Permai maka Embung menjadi jawabannya. Dengan adanya Embung Wirajasa ini diharapkan bisa mengurangi dampak banjir pada area Perumahan Waringin Permai. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan analisis berupa debit banjir dengan kala ulang 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 ,100 tahun. Pengaruh Embung Wirajasa terhadap DAS Buaran dan Seberapa besar pengurangan debit banjir yang dapat dihasilkan dari adanya pembangunan Embung Wirajasa . Penelitian dimulai dengan pengumpulan data, mempelajari perhitungan analisi frekuensi, hidragraf santuan sintetik Nakayasu dan Gama I dan penelurusan banjir dengan menggunakan metode Level Pool Routing (LPR). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan debit banjir yang terjadi sebelum adanya Embung Wirajasa dengan menggunakan hidrograf satuan sintetik Nakayasu pada kala ulang 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 adalah sebesar 103.3 m3/det, 131.56 m3/det, 150.27 m3/det, 173.93 m3/det, 191.47 m3/det, 211.49 m3/det. Hidrograf satuan sintetik Gama I pada kala ulang 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 adalah sebesar 32.73 m3/det, 41.24 m3/det, 47.63 m3/det , 54.01 m3/det, 59.29 m3/det, 64.54 m3/det. Setelah adanya Embung Wirajasa debit banjir menjadi 84.04 m3/det, 107.04 m3/det, 122.27 m3/det, 141.54 m3/det, 155.81 m3/det, 171.70 m3/det dengan menggunakan Nakayasu. Sedangkan untuk Gama I debit banjir menjadi 31.53 m3/det , 38.89 m3/det, 42.34 m3/det, 45.78 m3/det 48.64 m3/det, 51,99 m3/det. Kata Kunci : Banjir, Embung, Level Pool Routing
