Abstract

PT. Astra Daihatsu Motor merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang produksi kendaraan roda empat. Tingginya volume produksi mengharuskan perusahaan untuk fokus terhadap kualitas. Volume produksi yang tinggi akan terganggu apabila tidak diikuti dengan kualitas yang baik. Tingginya defect appearance mengharuskan perusahaan untuk segera memperbaiki kualitas, karena biaya perbaikannya tinggi. Oleh karena itu digunakan metode six sigma dengan tahapan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) dengan tujuan menentukan jenis defect terbesar yang memiliki presentase cacat terbesar, menentukan penyebab defect terbesar serta menentukan alternatif usulan berdasarkan pendekatan metode six sigma (DMAIC). Setelah dilakukan perhitungan serta analisis menggunakan metode six sigma DMAIC, diketahui jenis defect terbesar memiliki presentase sebesar 65,77%. Berdasarkan hasil scoring FMEA dapat diketahui juga bahwa permasalahan paling mendesak untuk diperbaiki yaitu cycle time tidak cukup, area kerja banyak part NG, desain lorry kurang tinggi dan lap yang digunakan tidak standar. Selanjutnya perbaikan dilakukan dengan tabel analisis 5w+1h berupa balacing pos dengan operator rear bumper, merapikan area kerja dengan prinsip 5S, meninggikan Lorry dan menggunakan lap khusus. PT. Astra Daihatsu Motor is moving company in the production of four wheels vehicle. The high volume of production requires the company to focus on the quality of. Highy volume production will be disrupted when not followed by a good quality. The defect appearance requires the company to immediately improve, as the cost high improvement. Hence use method of six sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) with the aim of determining the defect that has the precentage of the largest defect. Determine the causes defect as well as to determine the alternative proposals based on the method of six sigma DMAIC. After this analysis calculation and uses the six sigma DMAIC largest known defect of having precentage of 65,77%. Based on the results of scoring FMEA it can be seen that the problem also most pressing to be improved namely cycle time is not enough, work space many part NG, desin lorry lecking high, and duster are not standar. Then the repairs were carried out with the analysis 5W+1H balancing with the operator of the rear bumper, smothing workspace to the principle of 5S, raised lorry and use scpecial lap
