Abstract

Delay is a universal phenomenon in almost all construction projects in the world. This happened at all stages of the project, especially during the construction stage, but there were also delays in the planning and design stages (McManus et al., 1996). In public works projects, it was found that 88% of construction projects experienced delays in the planning and design stages (Halim & Zin, 2016). SPALD-T, which is one of the public works projects is still experiencing delays in the planning stages. There are quite many factors causing delays in the planning phase, one of which is the lack of use of Advanced Engineering Software in project planning designs (Hafiz Usama Imad et al., 2018). In government projects such as SPLD-T planning, not a few still use conventional software such as Microsoft Excel in the design of wastewater pipelines so that engineers will need a lot of time to carry out the design or correction process. This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of hydraulic engineering software on the time performance of the city-scale SPALDT planning project. By using the multiple linear analysis method, it is obtained that the use of hydraulic engineering software has a positive effect on the planning time performance of SPALD-T by 52.5% because hydraulic engineering software has factors such as ease of analysis, clear visualization, design coverage, scenario management, automated design, integration with GIS conversion and accuracy. Where the most influential factor is scenario management. Keywords: wastewater project, engineering software, sewerage design, time performance Keterlambatan menjadi fenomena yang universal di hampir semua proyek konstruksi di dunia. Hal ini terjadi pada semua tahapan proyek terutama pada tahap konstruksi tetapi tidak sedikit juga terjadi keterlambatan pada tahap perencanaan dan desain (McManus et al., 1996). Pada proyek pekerjaan umum didapatkan bahwa 88% proyek konstruksi mengalami keterlambatan pada tahap perencanaan dan desain (Halim & Zin, 2016). SPALD-T yang merupakan salah satu proyek pekerjaan umum masih terjadi keterlambatan pada tahap perencanaan. Terdapat cukup banyak faktor penyebab keterlambatan pada fase perencanaan yang salah satunya yaitu masih kurangnya penggunaan Advanced Engineering Software dalam melakukan desain perencanaan proyek (Hafiz Usama Imad et al., 2018). Pada proyek perencanaan SPALD-T tidak sedikit yang masih menggunakan software konvensional seperti Microsoft Excel dalam desain jaringan pipa air limbah sehingga engineer akan membutuhkan waktu yang banyak untuk melakukan proses desain ataupun koreksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan hydraulic engineering software terhadap kinerja waktu pada proyek perencanaan SPALD-T Skala Kota. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis linear berganda dihasilkan bahwa dengan penggunaan hydraulic engineering software terdapat pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja waktu perencanaan proyek SPALD-T sebesar 52,5% karena hydraulic engineering software memiliki faktor-faktor seperti kemudahan analisis, visualisasi jelas, cakupan desain, pengelolaan skenario, desain otomatis, integrasi dengan GIS konversi dan akurasi. Dimana faktor yang paling berpengaruh adalah pengelolaan skenario. Kata Kunci: Proyek air limbah, engineering software, desain perpipaan, kinerja waktu
