Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh return on equity, earning per share dan kebijakan dividen terhadap nilai perusahaan. Objek penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sub sektor otomotif dan komponennya periode 2015-2019. Data diperoleh melalui situs BEI (www.idx.co.id). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kausal. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode puposive sampling. Dari metode tersebut diperoleh 64 data perusahaan yang meiliki kriteria dan total data perusahaan ada 65 data perusahaan selama periode pengamatan lima tahun. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel dengan menggunakan tiga pendekatan metode alternatif yaitu common effect, fixed effect, dan random effect, lalu menggunakan pemilihan model chow test, hausman test dan lagrange multiplier test serta pengujian menggunakan uji t-statistik dengan aplikasi statistik Eviews 12. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji t-statistik ini menunjukkan bahwa return on equity dan kebijakan dividen berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sedangkan earning per share berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kata Kunci : return on equity, earning per share, kebijakan dividen dan nilai perusahaan ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of return on equity, earnings per share and dividend policy on firm value. The object of this research is the automotive sub-sector companies and their components for the 2015-2019 period. Data obtained through the IDX website (www.idx.co.id). The research design used is causal research. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. From this method, it was obtained 64 company data that met the criteria and a total of 65 company data during the five-year observation period. The analysis technique used is panel data regression using three alternative method approaches namely the common effect, fixed effect, and random effect, then using the selection of the model chow test, hausman test and lagrange multiplier test and testing using the t-statistic test with the Eviews 12 statistical application The results of this study using the t-statistic test show that return on equity and dividend policy have a negative and not significant effect on firm value. Meanwhile, earnings per share has a negative and significant effect on firm value. Keywords: return on equity, earnings per share, dividend policy and firm value
