Abstract

Ketatnya persaingan dunia kerja setiap tahunnya menyebabkan adanya peluang memperoleh pekerjaan atau menjadi pengangguran tak terkecuali mahasiswa semester akhir setelah menamatkan pendidikannya di perguruan tinggi. Hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan munculnya kecemasan menghadapi dunia kerja. Kecemasan tersebut dapat diminimalisir, salah satunya dengan berpikir positif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan berpikir positif dengan kecemasan menghadapi dunia kerja pada mahasiswa semester akhir. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik purposive sampling. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif dan signifikan antara berpikir positif dengan kecemasan menghadapi dunia kerja dimana nilai korelasi sebesar 0,469**dan nilai sig.2 tailed sebesar 0,000. Kata kunci: Berpikir Positif, Kecemasan Menghadapi Dunia Kerja Every year intense job competition caused get a chance to get job or being unemployment no exception final year student after graduating University. It is that can cause appear anxiety in facing the world of work. One of the solution to minimize anxiety in facing the world of work is positive thinking. The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between positive thinking and anxiety in facing the world of work. This reseach used quantitative method and purposive sampling technique. The result of this research showed the value of correlation coefficient is -0,469** and sig 2. tailed P= (0,000) which means the relationship between Positive Thinking and Anxiety in facing the world of work in final year student is negative and significant.
