Abstract

ABSTRAK Perusahaan mengalami permasalahan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan, dalam proses produksi seperti produk Cincin untuk pria atau wanita masih sering terjadi produk defect. Tingginya cacat produk yang dihasilkan membuat kerugian bagi perusahaan. Perusahaan perhiasan tempat penelitian ini dilakukan memiliki standar cacat produk yang diperbolehkan <1%. Berdasarkan jumlah data produksi selama bulan Juni hingga November 2021 diketahui jumlah rata rata produk Cincin dengan bobot sebesar 0,17%. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa perlu tindakan pengendalian kualitas untuk mengatasi permasalahan. Adapun tiga jenis cacat yang sering terjadi adalah keropos, bolong, gores. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui cacat Keropos dengan bobot sebesar 42,8%, Bolong dengan bobot sebesar 31%, dan Gores dengan bobot sebesar 26,2%. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) dan menghitung dengan menggunakan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) karena dari faktor penyebab cacat produk. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) hasil dari nilai RPN tertinggi adalah dengan jenis cacat Keropos dengan bobot tertinggi nilai RPN sebesar 105, nilai RPN tertinggi jenis cacat Bolong dengan nilai RPN 175, nilai RPN tertinggi jenis cacat Gores dengan nilai RPN 84. Kemudian melakukan analis dengan menggunakan FMEA maka diberikan usulan perbaikan untuk perusahaan dengan menggunakan metode 5W+1H yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas produk Cincin. The high defects of the resulting product make a loss for the company. The jewelry company where the study was conducted has a permissible product defect standard of <1%. Based on the amount of production data during June to November 2021, it is known that the average number of Ring products with a weight of 0.17%. This shows that there needs to be quality control measures to overcome the problem. The three types of defects that often occur are porous, bolong, scratch. Based on the results of the study, it is known that porous defects with a weight of 42.8%, Bolong with a weight of 31%, and Scratch with a weight of 26.2%. The research was conducted using the Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) method and calculated using the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value due to the factors that cause the product defect. Based on the results of research, the risk priority number (RPN) result of the highest RPN value is with the type of porous defect with the highest weight of RPN value of 105, the highest RPN value of Bolong defect type with RPN value of 175, the highest RPN value of Gores defect type with RPN value of 84. Then do analysts using FMEA then given proposed improvements for the company using the 5W + 1H method which is expected to improve the quality of Ring products.
