Abstract

The development of the network internet is growing so rapidly at this time that it must have a good quality internet conection. PT Pundi Kencana branch office has a network system that is already running, using two ISPs (Internet Service Providers), but there are problems with the existing internet connection. These problems disrupts the work of employees so that they find it difficult to access the internet, cannot access application systems or exchange data. Another problem is when smarphone users carry out high browsing activities, this causes the bandwidth used to be maximized. Load balancing failover can divide the traffic load network systems that have two lines internet connection. Later, it’s hoped that this network system can optimize the use of failiver load balancing to anticipate downtime and also employees who use smartphone devicess using a connection line from a backup ISP. Key words: Load Balancing, Failover, ISP, connection, Bandwidth Perkembangan jaringan internet begitu pesat pada sekarang ini sehingga harus memiliki kualitas koneksi internet yang baik. PT Pundi Kencana kantor cabang memiliki sistem jaringan yang sudah berjalan, menggunakan dua ISP (Internet Service Provider), namun terdapat kendala pada koneksi internet yang ada. Permasalahan tersebut membuat pekerjaan karyawan menjadi terganggu sehingga mereka kesulitan untuk mengakses internet tidak bisa mengakses sistem aplikasi maupun pertukaran data yang berada di kantor pusat. Permasalahan yang lain yaitu ketika pengguna smartphone melakukan aktifitas browsing yang tinggi, ini menyebabkan bandwidth yang digunakan menjadi maksimal. Load balancing Failover dapat membagi beban trafik sistem jaringan yang memiliki dua line koneksi internet. Nantinya diharapkan sistem jaringan ini dapat mengoptimalkan penggunaan Load balancing Failover dapat mengantisipasi terjadinya downtime dan juga karyawan yang menggunakan perangkat smartphone menggunakan linekoneksi dati ISP backup. Kata kunci: Load Balancing, Failover, ISP, Koneksi, Bandwidth
