Abstract

Mercedes-Benz Indonesia is a company in the automotive sector that produces cars, bus chassis, and truck chassis. Assembly Commercial Vehicle division is a part of production department which produces OH-1526 type bus chassis. The purpose of this study was to optimize the cycle assembly time of type OH-1526. This study uses a therblig map ergonomics approach. From the identification, results there is a standard time exceeding the takt time at station 1 and station 2 and repairs can reduce 35% of the cycle time at station 1 and station 2. Recommendations for improvement with the therblig map approach and the addition of operators are recommended. The results prove that the ergonomics approach of the therblig map in this case based on the experiments that have been carried out has the best trajectory efficiency of 94.27%, balance delay of 5.73%, and idle time of 129.1 minutes. Keywords: Cycle Time, Efficiency, Improvement,Therblig Map. Mercedes-Benz Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang otomotif yang memproduksi mobil, chassis bus, dan chassis truck. Salah satu bagian produksinya yaitu divisi Assembly Comercial Vehicle yang memproduksi chassis bus type OH-1526. Tujuan dari penelitian in adalah untuk mengoptimalkan waktu siklus perakitan chassis type OH-1526. Penelitian in menggunakan pendekatan ergonomi peta therblig. Dari hail identifikasi terdapat waktu baku melebihi takt time pada station 1 dan station 2 dan perbaikan dapat mengurangi 35% waktu siklus pada station 1 dan station 2. Rekomendasi usulan perbaikan dengan pendekatan peta therblig dan penambahan operator. Hasil membuktikan bahwa pendekatan ergonomi peta therblig pada kasus ini berdasarkan percobaan yang telah dilakukan memiliki efisiensi lintasan paling baik yaitu 94,27%, balance delay sebesar 5,73%, dan idle time sebesar 129,1 menit.
