Abstract

SMP PGRI 32 Jakarta is a private junior high school located in the Cideng area, Gambir District, Central Jakarta City. Every month this school receives tuition payments from students' parents through the school's cashier unit. However, the SPP payment system at this school still uses conventional media so that it can result in a lack of information about SPP, both in terms of data collection and how it is delivered. As for overcoming the problems faced, a web-based application was made to make it easier for parents/guardians of educated students and the SMP PGRI 32 Jakarta in terms of payments and data reporting. The method used in this research is extreme programming, where the extreme programming method itself is a software development method. Key words: spp payments, extreme programming, whatsapp notifications, application, SMP PGRI 32 Jakarta SMP PGRI 32 Jakarta adalah sekolah menengah pertama swasta yang berlokasi di wilayah Cideng, Kecamatan Gambir, Kota Jakarta Pusat. Setiap bulannya sekolah ini menerima pembayaran SPP dari orang tua siswa melalui unit kasir disekolah. Namun sistem pembayaran SPP disekolah ini masih menggunakan media konvensional sehingga dapat mengakibatkan kurangnya informasi mengenai SPP, baik secara pendataan maupun cara penyampaiannya. Adapun untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi, maka dibuatkan sebuah aplikasi berbasis web untuk memudahkan para orang tua/wali dari peserta didik yang terdidik serta pihak SMP PGRI 32 Jakarta dalam hal pembayaran dan juga pelaporan data. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah extreme programming, dimana metode extreme programming sendiri adalah metode pengembangan software.
