Abstract

Guci Hot Spring Tourism Park is a tourist park that has various kinds of tourist rides in it. Guci hot spring tourist park was founded in 1974, this tourist park is in the form of a hot spring object that originates from the foot of Mount Slamet. This tourist park continues to grow from year to year, but what is very unfortunate is that it does not yet have a brand identity in the form of a logo, color, typography, just a name and there is no consistency in both typography and pronunciation. This brand identity aims to show the character of the Guci Hot Air Tourism Park in the form of a logo so that it is easily recognized and remembered by the public as well as being a differentiator from other tours. The method used for this research is to use qualitative methods, the data taken comes from interviews, observations, and documents such as articles from reliable sources, books, and others. The data were analyzed using SWOT analysis to obtain results in the form of a design strategy, namely designing a brand identity in the form of a logo that can represent the character of the Guci hot spring tourist park and can be applied to various media. Keywords: Guci, Brand identity, logo, SWOT Taman Wisata Air Panas Guci adalah taman wisata yang memiliki berbagai macam wahana wisata yang ada didalamnya. Taman wisata air panas guci didirikan pada tahun 1974, taman wisata ini berupa objek pemandian air panas yang bersumber dari kaki Gunung Slamet. Taman wisata ini dari tahun ke tahun terus berkembang namun yang sangat disayangkan belum memiliki sebuah brand identity berupa logo, warna, tipografi, hanya sekedar nama dan tidak ada konsistensi baik tipografi maupun pelafalannya. Brand identity ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan karakter dari Taman Wisata Air Panas Guci dalam bentuk logo sehingga mudah dikenali dan diingat oleh masyarakat serta menjadi pembeda dengan wisata lainnya. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode kualitatif, data yang diambil bersumber dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumen seperti artikel dari sumber yang terpercaya, buku, dan lain-lain. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis SWOT untuk mendapat hasil dalam bentuk strategi desain yaitu merancang brand identity berupa logo yang dapat mewakili karakter taman wisata air panas guci dan dapat diaplikasikan ke berbagai media.
