Abstract

POS is an application that makes it easier for owners to run their business, carry out transactions, calculate profits and losses, recapitulate sales reports and also to develop businesses that are already running. The author itself as a businessman is greatly helped by the POS application. However, after running the business and has many branches, it will be very difficult to control each store, like me, who already has business called “Mie Ayam Ceker Mas Rio” with two branches to see the store daily, monthly and yearly transactions which is very irrelevant especially as the owner that busy with other matters, the implementation of the smart assistant in the POS application is very helpful in checking these transactions from daily, monthly, yearly sales and payment transactions. With the implementation of a smart assistant, it will make it easier for the owner to check the results of the transaction with no mistakes in transactions made by store employees. Smart assistant itself is a smart application concept that will be automated in all system services. This application will have a bot that has been designed in such a way that the bot can act as an instant virtual operational manager who will provide information services related to the transaction data. This bot can also make it easier for owners to monitor the development all of their business/store. The owner can communicate with the telegram bot anytime and anywhere as long as there is an internet connection. Telegram application was chosen because it is free and multiplatform. Telegram application also has a smart bot API that can support application creation. This application is designed using PHP and MySQL as programming languages and databases. The system development method uses SDLC and waterfall. Keywords: business development; POS; smart assistants; web application; SDLC; telegram bot Aplikasi POS adalah aplikasi yang mempermudah pemilik bisnis dalam menjalankan tranasaksi, menghitung laba dan rugi, rekapitulasi laporan penjualan dan juga untuk mengembangkan bisnis yang sudah berjalan. Disini penulis sebagai businessman sangat terbantu akan adanya aplikasi POS tersebut. Namun setelah usaha berjalan dan memiliki banyak cabang akan sangat kesulitan untuk mengontrol dari masing-masing toko, seperti halnya saya yang sudah memiliki usaha Mie Ayam Ceker Mas Rio dengan dua cabang ke toko untuk melihat transaksi penjualan harian, bulanan dan tahunan sangat tidak relevan apalagi pada saat saya selaku owner sedang berada diluar atau sedang sibuk dengan urusan lain, implementasi smarta asistent pada aplikasi POS ini sangat membantu dalam pengecekan transaksi tersebut dari transaksi penjualan, harian, bulanan maupun transaksi pembayran. Dengan adanya implementasi smart asistent dapat mempermudah owner dalam pengeecekan hasil transaksi tersebut dan tidak ada mis dalam transaksi yang di lakukan oleh karyawan toko. Smart assistant sendiri adalah suatu konsep aplikasi pintar yang akan terotomatisasi pada seluruh layanan sistem. Aplikasi ini akan memiliki bot yang telah dirancang sedemikian rupa dimana bot dapat bertindak sebagai manager operasional virtual instan yang akan memberikan layanan informasi terkait data transaksi. Bot ini juga dapat mempermudah owner untuk memonitori perkembangan bisnis/tokonya. Owner dapat berkomunikasi dengan bot telegram kapan saja dan dimana saja selama ada koneksi internet. Aplikasi telegram dipilih karena gratis dan multiplatform. Aplikasi telegram juga telah memiliki bot API pintar yang dapat mendukung pembuatan aplikasi. Aplikasi ini dirancang dengan menggunakan PHP dan MySQL sebagai bahasa pemrograman dan databasenya. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan SDLC dan waterfall.
