Abstract
In this dynamic technology era, companies are struggling to keep up with the technology competition in the competitive business world. Seeing the very role inventory plays in a company, the goal of implementing inventory management is to increase the company's profitability. Several previous studies have evaluated inventory which refers to inventory and sales. The research was built using the Research and Development (R&D) method, the steps of which consist of analysis, design, application, and maintenance. However, this method has problems in implementing the system. Like there is a stock process without a stock-taking process. Therefore, in this study we propose to use the Agile method which consists of Plan, Design, Demonstration Design, Develop, Test, Deploy, Review and Launch. As a basis for application in carrying out the inventory process. The results of this study concluded that Agile has a more accurate result than other methods. Keywords: profitability, inventory management, agile Di era teknologi yang dinamis ini, perusahaan - perusahaan berjuang untuk tetap mengikuti persaingan teknologi dalam persaingan dunia usaha. Melihat sangat berperannya inventori dalam perusahaan, tujuan menerapkan inventori management adalah supaya dapat meningkatkan profitabilitas perusahaan. Beberapa penelitian sebelumnya telah melakukan evaluasi mengenai inventory yang mengacu kepada persediaan barang dan penjualan. Penelitian tersebut dibangun dengan menggunakan Metode Research and Development (R&D) yang langkah-langkahnya terdiri dari analisis, perancangan, penerapan, dan pemeliharaan. Akan tetapi metode tersebut memiliki masalah dalam penerapan sistem tersebut. Seperti Adanya proses stock barang tanpa ada proses stock opname. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini kami mengusulkan untuk menggunakan metode Agile yang terdiri dari Plan, Design, Demonst ration Design, Develop, Test, Deploy, Review Dan Launch. Sebagai dasar penerapan dalam melakukan proses inventory. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan jika Agile memiliki hasil yang lebih akurat dari pada dengan metode lainnya. Kata kunci: profitabilitas, inventori management, agile.
