Abstract

PT Fuji Seat Indonesia annually holds a registration selection for its employees to internships in Japan. The selection process is carried out with several test in which there are respective criteria that are used by HRGA staff to determine which employees are most recommended for apprenticeship in Japan. However, in its implementation, the selection process often encountered obstacles due to the large number of criteria and the number of employees registering. So that it causes the selection process to take a long time implement. This study aims to solve these problems. Based on several previous studies, it is stated that several decision support methods that can fully support the matchinf of existing criteria are Profile Matching method. Therefore, in this study, we implemented the Profile Matching method as a decision support method for selectiong employees who registered for internships. The final result of this research is the rangking of employees for apprenticeships to Japan with a short selection process. Key words: Selection, Internships, Profile Matching PT Fuji Seat Indonesia setiap tahunnya mengadakan seleksi pendaftaran kepada karyawannya untuk magang ke Jepang. Proses seleksi dilakukan dengan beberapa tes yang didalamnya terdapat kriterianya masing-masing yang digunakan oleh staff HRGA untuk menentukan karyawan mana yang paling direkomendasikan untuk dapat magang ke Jepang. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya proses penseleksian sering mengalami kendala karena banyaknya kriteria dan jumlah karyawan yang melakukan pendaftaran. Sehingga menyebabkan proses seleksi membutuhkan waktu lama dalam pelaksanaanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Berdasarkan dari beberapa penelitian terdahulu menyebutkan bahwa beberapa metode pendukung keputusan yang dapat sepenuhnya menunjang pencocokan kriteria yang ada adalah dengan metode Profile Matching. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini, kami mengimplementasikan metode Profile Matching sebagai metode pendukung keputusan untuk menseleksi karyawan yang melakukan pendaftaran magang. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah perangkingan karyawan untuk magang ke Jepang dengan proses seleksi yang singkat. Kata kunci: Seleksi, Magang, Profile Matching
