Abstract

The new corona virus (SARS-CoV-2) or the so-called COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019) spread in 2020. This virus was discovered in Wuhan, China for the first time at the end of 2019 and has infected approximately 90,308 people as of March 2, 2020 The number of deaths reached 3,087 people or 6%, the number of patients who recovered 45,726 people. Due to the increasingly widespread and rapid spread of Covid-19 throughout the world, it is necessary for everyone to see how conditions are currently happening both nationally and internationally. The application to be built is an application designed to help users with the latest information about COVID-19 in Indonesia and in the world. Applications built using the Android Studio and Kotlin frameworks, Android Studio is a native-based framework used to build interactive mobile applications. Kotlin is a programming language in Android Studio which is used as the base language in building mobile applications. Key words: Corona, COVID-19, Information System, Kotlin, Android Studio Virus corona jenis baru (SARS-CoV-2) atau yang disebut COVID-19(Coronavirus disease 2019) menyebar pada tahun 2020. Virus ini ditemukan di Wuhan, China pertama kali pada akhir 2019 dan sudah menginfeksi kurang lebih 90.308 orang per tanggal 2 Maret 2020. Jumlah kematian mencapai 3.087 orang atau 6%, jumlah pasien yang sembuh 45.726 orang. Dikarenakan penyebaran covid-19 yang semakin luas dan cepat ke penjuru dunia, perlu bagi semua orang mengetahui bagaimana kondisi yang saat ini terjadi baik di nasional maupun internasional. Aplikasi yang akan dibangun ini merupakan aplikasi yang dirancang untuk membantu user memantau informasi terkini mengenai COVID-19 di indonesia maupun di dunia. Aplikasi dibangun menggunakan Framework Android Studio dan Kotlin, Android Studio adalah salah satu framework berbasis native yang digunakan untuk membangun mobile apps yang interaktif. Kotlin merupakan bahasa pemograman pada android studio yang digunakan sebagai dasar bahasa dalam membangun aplikasi mobile. Kata kunci: Corona, COVID-19, Sistem Informasi, Kotlin, Android Studio
