Abstract

Increasing the need for electrical energy for consumers that cause in the distribution of electrical energy is often encountered constraints, obstacles that often occur, namely drop voltage one of which is due to the size of the cross-section on the transmission wire is not appropriate and exceeds the tolerance limit of (-10%) from nominal voltage / work in SPLN regulation no.1 year 1995 caused a decrease in the quality of service voltage distribution and the occurrence of energy loss in the form of losses through a network, it will worsen the quality of voltage and cause an increase in losses. Therefore, efforts need to be made in improving the voltage drop to improve the quality of voltage on the customer's side to be effective and reduce losses on the channels that impact the customer's electrical equipment as well as PLN as an electricity energy supplier. The method used in this study is literature study conducted by looking for journals as references and references in research theory. Data collection and field survey are conducted by observation method through online interviews. Analysis techniques performed by calculating using simulation methods in ETAP 12.6 software and manual calculation. From the simulation results on GTT substation 702 line C obtained results before reconfiguration of voltage drop percentage of 17.41% of nominal voltage 220 V and losses of 1.9 kW and power loss (in rupiah) of Rp. 12,494. After reconfiguration in the above method before the cross-sectional reconfiguration of LVTC 50 mm2 replaced with lvtc cross section 150 mm2 there was a decrease in the yield of voltage drop percentage of 9.94% of nominal voltage 220 V and losses of 0.1 kW with power loss (in rupiah) of
