Abstract
The development of technology in the digital era has had a significant impact on various aspects of human life. Technological advancements also present significant opportunities. In the business sector, technology can enhance operational efficiency, optimize supply chains, and pave the way for new innovations. A flower shop is a retail business that sells items such as groceries, snacks, and children's toys. The objective of this research is to develop a point-of-sale (POS) and inventory stock system. The built system includes several features such as sales transactions, purchasing transactions, membership card printing, report generation, transaction history, and inventory control using the First In, First Out (FIFO) algorithm. Through black box testing, the Point of Sales and Inventory system successfully performed its intended functions as expected. The usability testing resulted in respondents' feedback with 0% strongly disagreeing, 4% disagreeing, 55% agreeing, and 41% strongly agreeing, indicating that the system is working well. This implies that the Point of Sales and Inventory system is indeed highly needed as a replacement for manual inventory recording, and it can help control incoming and outgoing stock while minimizing the occurrence of expired items before they are sold. Perkembangan teknologi dalam era digital telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan pada berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia. perkembangan teknologi juga memberikan peluang yang besar. Dalam sektor bisnis, teknologi dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mengoptimalkan rantai pasok, dan membuka pintu bagi inovasi baru. Toko bunga merupakan usaha penjualan seperti bahan sembako, jajanan dan mainan anakanak. Tujuan Penelitian ini membuat sistem point of sales dan inventori stok barang, dari sistem yang di bangun terdapat beberapa fitur seperti, transaksi penjualan, transaksi pembelian barang, cetak member, cetak laporan, histori transaksi dan pengendalian stok barang menggunakan algoritma FIFO(First In, First Out). Dari hasil pengujian black box,sistem Point Of Sales dan Inventory ini berhasil menjalankan fungsinya seseuai yang di harapkan dan Pengujian usability yang mendapatkan responden dengan sangat tidak setuju 0%, Kurang setuju 4%, Setuju 55%, Sangat Setuju 41% dimana sistem sudah bekerja dengan baik, itu berarti sistem Point Of Sales dan inventory memang sangat dibutuhkan sebagai penganti pencatatan pada persediaan yang masih menggunakan pencatatan yang manual dan dapat membantu pengendalian keluar masuk stok barang serta meminimalisir terjadinya barang expired sebelum terjual.
