Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of core self-evaluation and career competencies simultaneously on employee well-being of workers in Jabodetabek who have to pursue business targets during the new normal period. This research is correlative and the data is analyzed using analysis to determine the correlation between core self-evaluation and career competencies on employee well-being among employees in Jabodetabek. Respondents in this study were 366 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is accidental sampling using EWBS (Employee Well-being Scale) which has 19 question items Zheng, Zhu, Zhao and Chi (2015), then CSES (Core Self-Evaluation Scales) compiled by Judge, Locke & Durham (1997) which contains 12 question items. And CCQ (Career Competencies Quetionnaire) by Akkermans (2013) which a total of 21 question items. The results of this study indicate that core self-evaluation and career competencies have an impact on employee well-being by 21.3%. The increase in the core self-evaluation and career competencies of the employees, the more the employee well-being scores. Conversely, the lower the core self-evaluation and career competencies of the employees, the lower the employee well-being score. Keys : Core self-evaluation, Career Competencies and Employee well-being Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh core self-evaluation dan career competencies secara simultan terhadap employee well-being pekerja di Jabodetabek yang harus mengejar target bisnis pada masa new normal. Penelitian ini bersifat korelatif dan data dianalisis menggunakan analisis untuk mengetahui hubungan antara evaluasi diri inti dan career competencies terhadap employee well-being pada karyawan di Jabodetabek. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 366 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah accidental sampling menggunakan EWBS (Employee Well-being Scale) yang memiliki 19 item pertanyaan Zheng, Zhu, Zhao dan Chi (2015), kemudian CSES (Core Self-Evaluation Scales) yang disusun oleh Judge, Locke & Durham (1997) yang berisi 12 item pertanyaan. Dan CCQ (Career Competencies Quetionnaire) oleh Akkermans (2013) yang berjumlah 21 item pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa core self-evaluation dan career competencies berpengaruh terhadap employee well-being sebesar 21,3%. Semakin tinggi core self-evaluation dan career competencies karyawan, semakin tinggi nilai employee well-being. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah core self-evaluation dan career competencies karyawan, semakin rendah nilai employee well-being.
