Abstract

Fiber optic network is one of the rapidly developing technologies at this time. Using fiber optic technology makes the need for internet and intranet easier and more practical. Optical fiber is a technology that can provide large bandwidth capacity at high speed. In this study, an analysis of the Fiber To The Home (FTTH) network was carried out using Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology in Mustika Tigaraksa housing. To calculate the feasibility of the network, namely the feasibility parameters of the Power Link Budget and Rise Time Budget. The results of the design of the power link budget uplink (1310 nm) received by the device is - 19.615 dBm with a system margin of 3.385 dB. And the downlink (1490 nm) received by the device is - 18.978 dBm with a system margin of 4.022 dB with manual calculations on ODP4 with the furthest distance of 9.1 Km so that the value meets the standard, which is not less than -29 dBm. The calculation results using the rise time budget parameter, the total uplink rise time (1310 nm) is 0.2145 ns, this value still meets the standard rise time value of the NRZ signal bit rate of 0.5627 ns. And for the total downlink rise time (1490 nm) of 0.2459 ns, this value still meets the standard rise time value of the NRZ bit rate signal of 0.2917 ns. Keywords : FTTH, GPON, Power Link Budget, Rise Time Budget Jaringan serat optik merupakan salah satu teknologi yang berkembang pesat pada saat ini. Dengan menggunakan teknologi serat optik membuat kebutuhan akan adanya internet dan intranet menjadi lebih mudah dan lebih praktis. serat optik merupakan teknologi yang dapat menyediakan kapasitas bandwith besar dengan kecepatan tinggi. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisa jaringan Fiber To The Home (FTTH) dengan menggunakan teknologi Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) di perumahan Mustika Tigaraksa. Untuk menghitung kelayakan jaringan yaitu dengan parameter kelayakan Power Link Budget dan Rise Time Budget. Hasil perancangan dari nilai power link budget uplink (1310 nm) yang diterima perangkat sebesar - 19,615 dBm dengan margin system sebesar 3,385 dB. Dan downlink (1490 nm) yang diterima perangkat sebesar - 18,978 dBm dengan margin system sebesar 4,022 dB dengan perhitungan manual pada ODP4 dengan jarak terjauh 9,1 Km sehingga nilai tersebut memenuhi standar yaitu tidak kurang dari -29 dBm. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan parameter rise time budget, total uplink rise time (1310 nm) sebesar 0.2145 ns, nilai ini masih memenuhi standar nilai rise time sinyal NRZ bit rate sebesar 0.5627 ns. Dan untuk total rise time downlink (1490 nm) sebesar 0.2459 ns, nilai tersebut masih memenuhi standar nilai rise time dari sinyal NRZ bit rate sebesar 0.2917 ns.
