Abstract

One of the small industrial innovations in the world of t-shirt screen printing is DTF (Direct Transfer Film) screen printing, one of the printer-based screen printing methods that uses special textile inks (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, White) DTF screen printing is an image printing method using flim transfer paper combined with adhesive powder or glue powder, which helps attach images to t-shirt media by pressing using a head press machine with a temperature of 150 ° For 15 seconds, tshirts that have been pressed are spread for approximately 1 minute on flat media such as tables, chairs or floors with the screen printing side position upside down with the aim of making the cooling process faster. The design method used to produce products that solve existing problems, with aspects of originality in it is based on conducting case study analysis of 6 similar products that are considered to be trying to solve the same problem so that findings can be used to underlie data search and design processes. Based on observations of the process of activities in screen printing UMKM At Colab Screen Printing ITC Permata Hijau, the process of activities after the t-shirt head press on DTF screen printing is a t-shirt that has been pressed is placed on a small chair, which is located next to the head press machine table. With a chair size of 40 cm wide, 50 cm high, while the size of the table is 50 cm wide, 75 cm high, with a total height with a press machine table is 105 cm. The hot temperature on the new t-shirt press makes consumers' hands feel hot, the size of the cabinet that is not too large in the closet generally adjusts to the place of MSMEs that have a business place of 2 m to 3 square meters. Keywords: wardrobe, dtf screen printing, furniture Salah satu inovasi industri kecil dalam dunia percetakan sablon kaos yaitu Sablon DTF (Direct Tranfer Film) salah sau metode sablon yang berbasis printer yang menggunakan tinta khusus textile (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, White) sablon DTF adalah metode cetak gambar dengan menggunakan kertas transfer flim yang di padukan dengan adhesive powder atau bubuk lem, yang membantu melekatkan gambar ke media kaos dengan cara di press menggunakan mesin head press dengan suhu 150° selama 15 detik, kaos yang sudah di press di latakan kurang lebih 1 menit di media yang datar semperti meja, kursi atau lantai dengan posisi sisi sablon terbalik dengan tujuan agar proses pendinginan lebih cepat.Metode perancangan yang di pakai untuk menghasilkan produk yang menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada, dengan aspek orisinalitas didalamnya didasari dengan melakukan analisa studi kasus terhadap 6 produk sejenis yang dinilai berupaya menyelesaikan permasalahan yang sama sehingga munculnya temuan yang dapat digunakan untuk mendasari pencarian data dan proses perancangan.Berdasarakan pengamatan proses kegiatan di UMKM sablon di Colab Sablon ITC Permata Hijau, proses kegiatan setelah head press kaos pada sablon DTF yaitu kaos yang sudah di press di letakan pada kursi kecil, yang terletak pada samping meja mesin head press. Dengan ukuran kursi lebar 40 cm tinggi 50 cm sedangkang ukuran meja lebar 50 cm tinggi 75 cm, dengan total tinggi dengan meja mesin press ialah 105 cm.Peletakan kaos yang sudah di press lebih tertata rapi karna proses pendinginan langsung masuk ke dalam lemari, lebih aman karna kaos yang sudah di press tidak di letakan di meja atau kursi yang memudahkan konsumen tidak menyentuh secara langsung. Suhu panas yang ada pada kaos yang baru di press membuat tangan konsumen merasakan panas, ukuran lemari yang tidak terlalu besar pada lemari umumnya menyesuaikan dengan tempat UMKM yang meiliki tempat usaha 2 m samapai 3 meter persegi.
