Abstract
Digitalization is considered as a solution to increase speed, accuracy and effectiveness in business processes. The industrial sector strongly supports digitalization as a big leap in the sector known as the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Machine is one of the important elements in the continuity of industrial business so it is necessary to periodically maintain and monitor machines to prevent losses in industrial processes. However, based on the data provided by the production division where this case study was conducted, it is seen that there is a decrease in machine performance in production which causes losses. Based on previous research, the decline in engine performance is due to the low effectiveness of the machine. The purpose of this study is to utilize technology to make applications using standard methods that have been widely used in measuring machine effectiveness, namely Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and to determine the relationship between decreased machine performance and machine effectiveness values. Based on the results of research that has been done, it shows that the application is correct in measuring effectiveness based on the results of calculation validation. The results of calculation validation show that the calculations in the application are in accordance with manual calculations so that the application can be an indicator to measure the effectiveness of machine performance. Previous calculations also show that the engine effectiveness value has not met the standard and this shows a relationship between engine performance problems and the machine effectiveness value. Keywords – digitalization, machine, overall equipment effectiveness, application Digitalisasi dinilai sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan kecepatan, ketepatan, dan efektivitas di dalam proses bisnis. Sektor industri sangat mendukung digitalisasi sebagai sebuah lompatan besar di dalam sektor ini yang di sebut sebagai Revolusi Industri 4.0. Mesin merupakan elemen penting dalam keberlansungan bisnis industri sehingga perlu perawatan dan monitoring mesin secara berkala untuk mencegah kerugian dalam proses industri. Namun, berdasarkan data yang diberikan divisi produksi tempat studi kasus penelitian ini dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat penurunan performa mesin dalam produksi yang menyebabkan kerugian. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya, penurunan performa mesin disebabkan oleh rendahnya nilai efektivitas mesin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknologi untuk membuat aplikasi menggunakan metode standar yang sudah banyak digunakan dalam mengukur efektivitas mesin yaitu Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dan mengetahui keterkaitan penurunan performa mesin dengan nilai efektivitas mesin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi sudah sesuai dalam mengukur efektivitas berdasarkan hasil validasi perhitungan. Hasil validasi perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan pada aplikasi sudah sesuai dengan perhitungan secara manual sehingga aplikasi dapat menjadi indikator untuk mengukur efektivitas kinerja mesin. Perhitungan sebelumnya juga menunjukkan nilai efektivitas mesin belum memenuhi standar dan ini menunjukkan keterkaitan masalah performa mesin dengan nilai efektivitas mesin.
