Abstract

Water quality can be measured using a TDS Meter. TDS or what is known as Total Dissolve Solid is a measuring instrument used to see the level of dissolved solids in water. Total Dissolve Solid has units of PPM or Parts Per Million. With the TDS Meter, the solids in the water can be seen. A good TDS range is 0 ppm - 100 ppm. TDS meters sold in the market place can only read water quality from the LCD in 1 TDS Meter package. It does not allow remote data transfer. With the help of the Arduino microcontroller and the telegram application, it is possible for data from the TDS Meter to be sent to telegram. So in this final project, a system is designed that can measure the levels of total dissolve solid (TDS) whose results can be read by the user from the telegram bot. Based on the test results, the tool can receive messages from BOT Telegram and send data information from the TDS Meter sensor remotely using the ESP8266 Wifi module Keywords : Arduino Uno, TDS Meter, ESP8266 Kualitas air dapat di ukur menggunakan TDS Meter. TDS atau yang disebut dengan Total Dissolve Solid merupakan alat ukur yang digunakan untuk melihat tingkat zat padat yang terlarut di dalam air. Total Dissolve Solid memiliki satuan PPM atau Part Per Million. Dengan adanya TDS Meter maka zat padat yang ada didalam air dapat terlihat. Range TDS yang baik berkisar 0 ppm - 100 ppm. TDS meter yang dijual di market place hanya dapat membaca kualitas air dari LCD yang ada dalam 1 paket TDS Meter. Hal ini tidak memungkinkan transfer data jarak jauh. Dengan bantuan mikrokontroller arduino dan aplikasi telegram maka memungkinkan untuk data dari TDS Meter dapat terkirim ke telegram. Maka dalam tugas akhir ini dirancang sebuah sistem yang dapat mengukur kadar total dissolve solid (TDS) yang hasil nya dapat terbaca oleh user dari bot telegram. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, alat dapat menerima pesan dari BOT Telegram dan mengirim informasi data dari sensor TDS Meter secara jarak jauh dengan menggunakan modul Wifi ESP8266. Pengujian nilai pembacaan sensor antara BOT Telegram dengan TDS Meter pembanding didapat kesalahan alat sebesar 1,73 %. Kata kunci : Arduino Uno, TDS Meter, dan ESP8266
