Abstract

Housing complex in Batang Wonokerso Kandeman, Central Java, having vertical and horizontal deformation due to rainwater infiltrated into the ground causing the buildings on the embankment slope to suffered serious damage. This incident occurred after heavy rain with high intensity that occurred continuously in early 2020. This damage was exacerbated of surface drainage not ready, so that the water did not flow properly which resulted the water being infiltrated into embankment until the soil became saturated. Analysis was carried out that the higher groundwater level, the lower the value of the safety factor obtained. Meanwhile, the higher of the slope safety factor value, the smaller estimated deformation value that will occur. Based on the results of the safety factor static condition in the first analysis, it was 1,691 with an estimated lateral deformation is 3.44 cm and a vertical deformation is 2.45 cm. In dynamic conditions with 0.18 pga, slopes with reinforcement in normal water condition safety factors is 1.245, the value of vertical deformation is 4.23 cm and horizontal deformation is 6.66 cm. Keywords: water level rise, safety factor, deformation, embankment slope, Plaxis 3D Perumahan di daerah Batang, Jawa Tengah tepatnya di Desa Wonokerso Kecamatan Kandeman mengalami deformasi vertical dan horizontal akibat air hujan yang terinfiltrasi ke dalam tanah sehingga menyebabkan bangunan di atas lereng timbunan tersebut mengalami kerusakan yang cukup parah. Kejadian ini terjadi setelah hujan deras dengan intensitas tinggi yang terjadi terus menerus pada awal tahun 2020. Kerusakan ini diperburuk dengan belum adanya drainase permukaan, sehingga air tidak mengalir dengan baik yang mengakibatkan air terinfiltrasi ke dalam tanah timbunan hingga tanah menjadi jenuh. Dalam penelitian ini telah dianalisis bahwa Semakin tinggi muka air tanah, maka semakin rendah nilai faktor keamanan yang diperoleh. Sedangkan Semakin besar nilai faktor keamanan lereng maka semakin kecil nilai estimasi deformasi yang akan terjadi. Berdasarkan hasil faktor keamanan kondisi statik pada analisis pertama adalah 1.691 dengan estimasi deformasi lateral adalah 3.44 cm dan deformasi vertical 2.45 cm. Pada kondisi dinamik dengan nilai pga 0.18, lereng dengan perkuatan geogrid pada kondisi air normal memiliki nilai faktor keamanan sebesar 1.245 pada, nilai deformasi vertikal adalah 4.23 cm dan deformasi horizontal 6.66 cm.
