Abstract
Children's nutrition is a reflection of the health of children's growth and development. In general, the nutritional status of children can be assessed based on considerations of age, weight, height, and body mass index (BMI). The South Petukangan Village participates in organizing Posyandu activities that are spread out in every Hamlet. Posyandu activities have been going well everymonth, but the cadres in managing Posyandu activity data are still done manually by recording directly on paper so that there is a buildup of archives of activity data files that are at risk of being lost. In addition, because the number of children registered in each posyandu is very large, it is not effective to conclude that the growth and development of each child is normal or not. Parents who take part in posyandu activities are required to bring a Health Card which is handed over to posyandu cadres to record the child's weight and height. The purpose of this study is to build an expert system to detect the growth and development of children based on the results of nutritional status contained in the website page with implement the forward chaining method. The forward chaining method will produce the nutritional status of children in the system with the category of very low, less, normal, or more weight status. The presence of an expert system to detect child growth and development can help posyandu cadres and parents in detecting child growth and development based on nutritional status results. Key words: Posyandu, Expert System, Forward chaining Gizi anak merupakan cerminan kesehatan tumbuh kembang pada anak. Pada umumnya status gizi anak dapat dinilai berdasarkan pertimbangan umur, berat badan, tinggi badan, dan indeks masa tubuh (IMT). Kelurahan Petukangan Selatan turut serta menyelenggarakan kegiatan Posyandu yang tersebar di setiap Rukun Warga (RW). Kegiatan posyandu sudah berjalan dengan baik setiap bulan, namun para kader dalam mengelola data-data kegiatan posyandu masih dilakukan secara manual dengan pencatatan langsung dikertas sehingga terjadinya penumpukan arsip berkas data kegiatan yang beresiko rentan hilang. Selain itu karena jumlah anak yang terdaftar di setiap posyandu sangat banyak, untuk menyimpulkan tumbuh kembang setiap anak yang normal atau tidak belum terlihat efektif. Para orang tua yang mengikuti kegiatan posyandu diwajibkan membawa Kartu Menuju Sehat (KMS) yang diserahkan kepada kader posyandu untuk mencatat berat dan tinggi badan anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membangun sistem pakar untuk mendeteksi tumbuh kembang anak berdasarkan hasil status gizi yang terdapat dalam halaman website dengan mengimplementasikan metode forward chaining. Metode forward chaining akan menghasilkan status gizi anak yang terdapat dalam sistem dengan kategori status berat badan sangat kurang, kurang, normal, atau lebih. Kehadiran sistem pakar untuk mendeteksi tumbuh kembang anak ini dapat membantu para kader posyandu dan orang tua dalam mendeteksi tumbuh kembang anak berdasarkan hasil status gizi.
