Abstract
Young working mother’s SWB are interesting topic to discuss. Working mother must be able to share their time, energy and roles to carry out roles as Wife, Mother and worker. To be able to carry out all these roles, young working mother need the Self-management ability. The research about relationship between self-management and subjective well-being is been done for several times both in Indonesia and aboard. But there is no research wich make young working mother as subject. This research involve 502 respondent with criteria a working mother with ages between 20 and 40 years according to the Hurlock theory. This research using quantitative methods and correlational analysis. The data collection techniques using non probability sampling and collection data use 3 scale such as Score of positive and negative experience (SPANE), Flourishing Scale, and Self-Control and SelfManagement Scale. The result of this research prove that there is positive relationship between self-management and subjective well being. The correlation score between self-management and affective experience is 0.825 and the correlation score of self-management and flourishing is 0.812. So the conclution is the higher level of self-management the more higher subjective well-being felt by young working mother in Jakarta. Keywords : Subjective well-being, Self-management, Working mother Subjective Well-being pada Ibu muda yang bekerja di Jakarta menjadi isu yang sangat menarik untuk dibahas. Ibu yang bekerja harus mampu membagi waktu, tenaga dan perannya sebagai seorang Istri, Ibu dan juga pekerja. Untuk dapat menjalankan semua peran tersebut secara seimbang dan mencapai tingkat Subjective well-being yang baik, Ibu muda yang bekerja membutuhkan kemampuan Self Management yang baik pula. Penelitian tentang hubungan antara Self Management dan Subjective Well-being sudah beberapa kali dilakukan baik di Indonesia maupun penelitian Internasional, namun penelitian ini belum pernah menjadikan Ibu muda yang bekerja sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini melibatkan 502 orang Ibu muda yang bekerja di Jakarta dengan kriteria usia 20 hingga 40 tahun sesuai dengan teori Usia dewasa awal menurut Hurlock. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan Teknik Analisi data korelasional. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode non probability sampling dan pengambilan data menggunakan 3 instrumen penelitian yaitu Score of positive and negative experience (SPANE), Flourishing Scale, dan Self Control and SelfManagement Scale. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara Self-Management dengan Subjective well-being. besar korelasi yang terjadi adalah 0.825 yang artinya Self-managemet dan Pengalaman afektif berkorelasi dengan sangat kuat. Sedangkan besar korelasi yang terjadi adalah 0.812 yang artinga Self-management dan flourishing berkorelasi dengan sangat kuat. Sehingga semakin tinggi kemampuan Self-Management yang dimiliki oleh Ibu muda yang bekerja di Jakarta maka akan semakin tinggi pula tingkat Subjective well-being yang mereka rasakan.
